Ed hollers up the stairs to Gemma
Ed calls upstairs to Gemma, then as he phones Hywel, and is dismayed to hear he will not get his laptop back until the weekend,
Gemma slips out unseen, with a plan in mind
Gemma slips downstairs and leaves the Deri unseen.
Courtney asks her hypothetical question
At breakfast, Courtney asks Jim a hypothetical question;  “If I got into trouble – you know,” she says, brandishing a copy of True People, “You’d want me to tell you, wouldn’t you?”
"No, Dad, I'm not pregnant"
Jim is emphatic that she should not keep anything to herself, and she emphasises that she is not pregnant.
What has Mark seen, outside his house?
Mark shouts to Ricky that he will miss the bus, and then sees Gemma outside his house, clad in her nightie;
Gemma, giving her sleepwalking impression
he shepherds her inside, and tells Ricky that it looks as if she is sleepwalking again.
"Oh Mark, I can't take any more!"
He manages to rouse her, and she shouts in mock anguish, “Mark!”   He assures her that she is safe, and she tells him she cannot take any more;
It is obvious that Mark is being "taken for a ride" again
“Please help me, Mark!” she implores him, and as she hugs him she is wearing a very conspiratorial expression.
"I'm off to feed Jimbo's turkeys"
At Penrhewl, Cadno tells DJ they will have to get the lambs in, so they can be sent to the abattoir, and they need to treat some lame sheep.   DJ says, “Let me feed Jimbo’s turkeys first,” then Cadno has a call from Jim, but on seeing his name chooses not to take the call.
Elliw's father is talking to Mrs Llywelyn
Courtney sees Elliw outside Ffion’s office, where her father is talking to Ffion.   Courtney urges her to tell the truth;  “You have to tell him some time – at least it will be done then,” she says.
Ffion asks if anything is troubling Elliw
Elliw goes into the office, where Ffion is telling Mr Bevan how well Elliw had been doing last year, but she has not settled into year 11.   She asks, “Is anything troubling you?” and her father urges her to tell him if something is wrong, but she says nothing.   Ffion assures her father that they will get to the root of the problem.
Mark is going to look after Gemma, and protect her from Ed
Mark accompanies Gemma back to the Deri, where Ed shouts at her.   Mark replies, “She has started sleepwalking again, thanks to you!   She’s moving in with me, before you do any more damage.”   They go upstairs to collect Gemma’s belongings, and Ed tries to persuade her to stay:  “I promise I won’t lose my temper again!   I can’t run the place without you.”
Mark tells him to find someone else, and pay them, like normal people do.”
Gemma refuses to be Ed's skivvy
Gemma says she she thought she meant more to him than a skivvy.
Gwynfor is disgusted by the beer
Downstairs, Gwynfor complains to Ed that the beer is flat;  “Don’t you start,” he replies, “I’ve had enough complaints today.”   Gwynfor walks out, saying, “Maybe they’re right!”   Gemma and Mark come downstairs and leave, without a further word.
Courtney takes charge and leads Elliw to Ffion's office
Courtney sees Elliw again, and learns that she has not told them, so she offers to go with her to “Mrs Llywelyn, PE”.   “If you won’t tell your dad, then I will,” she insists, takes Elliw’s arm and marches her to Ffion’s office.
"She's pregnant, miss"
When Ffion asks what Elliw wants to talk about, she is silent, but looks at Courtney, who announces, “She’s pregnant, miss.”   Ffion asks further questions about the father, and how far advanced she is.
"Please don't tell my dad!"
Elliw is unsure, but thinks about seven months, and begs Ffion not to tell her father.   Ffion agrees to wait until she has told him herself.   “Unless you tell him soon, I won’t have any choice,” Ffion explains, and Elliw jumps up, blaming Courtney, and leaves.
Ffion praises Courtney for being a good friend
Ffion thanks Courtney for being brave enough to accompany her friend;  Courtney replies, “I knew I could trust you, miss.”
Jim seems to think his turkeys are not putting on weight
Jim arrives at Penrhewl and is anxious that the turkeys do not seem to be growing;  Cadno says he will not see any difference from one day to the next.   Then the abattoir phones  to say they cannot take any more lambs today, and also that the price has fallen.
"I've had enough," says Cadno
Cadno is understandably becoming depressed, and thinks she should consider all her options:  “I’ve had enough, one thing after another, and Jim driving me mad!”   She decides to have a few hours off.
Has Elliw told her Dad?
As Courtney lets herself into Angela’s house, she has a text from Elliw, thanking her for her support.
Cadno has a pint in the Deri and says that it is very good;  she agrees with Ed that it is hard to keep going, but when there is an offer on the table, she has to think of the children’s future as well as her own.
"The more you interfere, the more likely it is!"
Jim has come in and is incensed that she is thinking about selling.   “The more you interfere, the more likely it is,” she bluntly tells him.
Ed tries to contact Gemma, but when she sees his name on her phone she rejects the call.
Gemma's manipulation of Mark is going according to plan
Mark is making a fuss of her, and she encourages him;  “Sorry for being so much trouble – I feel safe now.”

Now she has got back into Mark's affections, she has no need of Ed
As Mark goes to tell Ricky that she will be staying for a while, Gemma deletes Ed’s name as a contact from her phone, and smiles with self-satisfaction.
