Britt wants to get rid of Huw as soon as possible
Britt is working in the garden, when long-lost Huw appears and asks, “How are you?   Is Dad here?”   She is far from pleased to see him, and tells him to come back when Siôn has returned from Swansea.   “You’re not staying here – the children will be back soon;  I don’t trust you after last time.”
Jinx tells Ffion what shopping they need on her way home
Ffion is just leaving school and on the phone to Jinx when Gaynor reminds her to be back by 5.45pm for the Parents’ Evening.
"Don't forget to be back here at 5.45pm"
She also wants Ffion to address the parents about the last academic year, but Ffion is doubtful she has enough time to prepare.
Iolo is cleaning again
As Iolo frantically cleans the table, there is a knock on the door, and Huw stands there, much to Iolo’s surprise.
"Are you still with those loonies?"
“When did you get back?” Iolo enquires, “Are you still with those loonies?   It’s been eighteen months with no contact, and you suddenly turn up!”   Huw insists that he is back to stay this time.
Mummy will not be able to give Arwen her bath tonight
At home, Ffion tells Jinx she will not have time to bath Arwen, and as Jinx prepares the meal, she sits down to write her script.   “Why ask me so late in the day?
"Gaynor has got her knife into me!"
She wants me to fail – she’s got her knife in me!” she complains, but Jinx urges her to prove Gaynor wrong;  “Show her you can do it!”
After doing some writing, Ffion throws down her pen and announces, “I’m not going!   This is a charade for Gaynor to show how brilliant she is, and how hopeless I am!”   Jinx tells her she is doing herself a disservice, but Ffion sees it as, “Saving myself.”
Siôn home, after his long journey
When Siôn gets home after a slow journey, being held up by an overturned lorry near Cross Hands, Britt tells him that Huw is back, and that she sent him away, as she remembers what he was like before he went to Australia, and did not to be alone with him.
"Don't bring him back here, unless you're sure you can trust him"
Siôn thinks he will probably be at Iolo’s, and Britt warns him, “Don’t bring him back here unless you’re sure you can trust him!”
Iolo insists that the mug must be replaced exactly as it was
After having a mug of tea, Huw puts down the washed mug, but Iolo immediately insists it must be hung up, and facing the same way as the others.
Siôn is overjoyed to see his son back
Siôn arrives and hugs Huw, then begins to question him.   Apparently he did get married, but now is separated and Anneka is living in India;  he is rather vague about how he escaped from the cult.
Iolo sceptically comments, “If I’d left a crew of nutters, I’d know exactly how, where and when!”
There is still some suspicion that Huw is deceiving them
Siôn says that he is not as naïve about cults as he was, and suspects that Huw is deceiving them;  he has to be sure for the sakes of Britt and the children.   Huw insists that he has left them, and wanted to apologise to Britt, but did not have the chance.
When Iolo says that Huw could have phoned, Huw replies that he was watched all the time – the cult was “obsessional”.   Both he and Anneka managed to escape, and she decided to stay in Indonesia, but Iolo remarks, “You said it was India!” and both he and Siôn look suspicious.
Huw continues to answer questions
Siôn continues his interrogation;  “Was it a legal marriage?   Do you still have feelings for Anneka?”   Huw insists that he has changed and is not a cult member any more.   All he wants to do is come home and work out what to do next;  Siôn promises to talk to Britt, and meanwhile Iolo very reluctantly agrees that Huw can sleep on the sofa tonight.
Gaynor is not happy at Ffion's absence
At the Parents’ Evening, Gaynor welcomes the visitors, but when she phones to see where Ffion is, she only hears a recorded message.   Afterwards she calls to see Ffion, telling her that every teacher was there, except her.
"Unprofessional and unforgivable!"
“It was unprofessional and unforgivable!” she lectures Ffion, who replies, “I feel as if I am being belittled all the time, being ignored and treated like dirt!   You nearly caused me to start drinking again, and I don’t see why I should tolerate it any longer.   That’s why I’ve decided to give it up – I’m resigning!
"I'm resigning!" much to Jinx's surprise
I may not be any good at running a school, but I’ll make absolutely sure I’m a good mother to Arwen.”   Jinx looks on in astonishment.
"What are you going to do about a job?"
Gaynor’s suggestions about her taking a “sabbatical” are rejected, and after Gaynor has left, Jinx asks, “Why didn’t you discuss it with me first?  What are you going to do about a job?   You’re not doing this for Arwen!”
Siôn is still not sure about Huw
Siôn reports back to Britt that although Huw is more mature now, he is not sure about him.   Britt does not want him back at Y Felin until they are both sure.
At number 7, Iolo again asks Huw, “Have you really turned your back on them?” and Huw again stresses that he has.   “OK, glad to have you back,” says Iolo, and goes upstairs to bed.

There appears to be an unusually large amount of cash in that bag
Huw fetches his luggage from the kitchen, opens the bag and reveals a large quantity of British banknotes.
