Dani is not interested until Garry woos her with scotch eggs
Dani is, as usual, planning on her laptop when Garry suggests they go for a picnic;  Dani says she is too busy.   Garry maintains they need to get out for a while, and if they cannot forgive each other, there is not much hope for them.   Finally, with the promise of scotch eggs and cherryade, she agrees.
Whatever coach company this is has a strange pricing policy
Gwyneth has a coach booking site on her laptop, when she rings and books a single ticket to London.
Anita wants her wonky table looked at
Anita comes into the cafĂ© and complains about her wonky diningroom table, but Meic is too busy.   Debbie has had an e-mail from Liam, who enjoyed the video, and is looking forward to being back at barracks.
This does not go down well with Anita
She thanks Meic for his help and support and kisses him, much to the displeasure of Anita who is watching.
When Gethin comes in, Diane complains about all the work she is doing towards this wedding, but Gethin will not help, being affronted at not being chosen to give Dani away.
Diane disapproves of the Debbie-Meic relationship
Diane looks at Debbie and Meic;  Gethin remarks, “I don’t know what they see in him!”
The happy couple in an idyllic flower-strewn meadow
Dani and Garry walk through a field full of wild flowers, and Garry is rather cross at one of his credit cards being “maxed out” already;  “We need to be careful, and find a few bargains,” he urges Dani.   She replies, “I could have bought the veil in a pound shop!   You’re just in a mood!”
"We're survivors, you and me"
Garry sits on a bench by the water, (possibly Bosherston Ponds) and Dani remembers when she was in a park with her dad.   Garry regrets that at the wedding, they will only have one row of family between them.   However, he insists, “We’re survivors, you and me – we’ve never had it easy.”
Dani thinks that she may have been too hard on Gethin, and as he is all she has left she must make more effort.
Gethin urges Gwyneth to give it time . . .
Gethin calls on Gwyneth to find her packing a case, and tells her that Gwern needs her, and Garry will cool down eventually.   Gwyneth is of the opinion that Garry will never change his mind, and that seeing Gwern without being able to contact him is too much.
. . . but Gwyneth's mind is made up – she's going
“I’m not going to change my mind – it’s fairer on Gwern if I’m not here!”
Anita tries to wedge the inexplicably wobbly table
When Diane goes to Anita’s for a meal, Anita tries to stop the table from wobbling;  the phone rings, and Anita is surprised to hear the voice of Kevin, calling from the prison.
"Hasn't he got the time to visit his own son in prison?"
“It’s been a long time,” he says, “Is dad there?   He hasn’t been to visit me at all.   Hasn’t he got the time to visit his own son in prison?”
Anita blurts out, “He and Debbie are together now!”
"What?" shouts Kevin, incredulously
Kevin is amazed at this, and Anita continues, “Ask him yourself, if you don’t believe me!”   She admits to Diane that she should not have said that.
Dani urges Garry to go easier on Gwyneth
Dani watches the ducks on the lake, and asks, “ Do ducks eat scotch eggs?”   She says she wants the day to be perfect, and Garry assures her, “If you are there, it will be perfect.”   She tells Garry that she made a mistake not asking Gethin to give her away, then she changes the subject.
“Have you thought about Gwyneth?   We may have had a hard upbringing – but it doesn’t have to be like that for Gwern.”
Debbie, engrossed in her iPad game
Debbie is playing a game on her iPad, when Meic’s mobile, left on the sideboard, starts ringing;  “Hello, Meic’s phone,” she says, and hears the words,
Debbie gets a terrible shock
“I heard Father has a new girlfriend – Anita’s telling the truth then!” and he puts down the phone.
"You and your big mouth!"
Diane is trying to persuade Anita that she needs to go speed dating  when there is a knock on the door;  a furious Debbie marches in, saying, “You and your big mouth!   Meic should have told Kevin – what business is it of yours?   I don’t want Meic finding out!”
Anita replies, “Are you keeping secrets already?”   Debbie gives her some advice;  “Concentrate on your own life before you turn into a desperate witch!   But maybe it’s too late!” and she storms off.
Dani, rather offput by Gethin's nail-clipping
Dani goes to make peace with Gethin, which she finds difficult as he is cutting his toenails.   She tells him she wants him to give her away, as he is her only family.   He does not want to be there when she tells Diane that she has been relegated.
Debbie, analysing her wifi problem
Debbie wields a Netgear router, complaining that, “The wifi is bonkers!”   As she tries to send an e-mail to Liam using 3G, Meic tells her he is too sensitive, and is angry at the effect Kevin is having upon him, like a dark cloud.   “But it’s you and me who are important now, and we can tell him that we’re together when it suits us.”
Dani breaks the disappointing news to Diane
Diane is, as predicted, not happy when Dani tells her that Gethin will give her away, but brightens up when told she can choose her own bridesmaid’s dress.
"Hiya, Mami" says Gwern, as Garry brings him over
Gwyneth phones for a taxi, but suddenly is surprised when Garry arrives with Gwern;  “Hiya, Mami,” he says.   Garry wants Gwyneth to look after him until six, as he says he needs to go to Cross Hands.
Garry clearly states, “One more chance,” then adds, to Gwern, “Be a good boy for Mami.”
Gwern knows where Mami keeps the sweets
He immediately asks for some sweets, and goes to the drawer in the kitchen, to help himself.

Gwyneth cannot believe Garry's change of heart
Gwyneth cannot believe it and rings to cancel the taxi;  “My plans have changed,” she says, smiling broadly.
