Garry is desperate to see Dani
There is a knock on Mark’s door, and Garry wants to speak to Dani;  when Mark tells him that Dani does not want to see him, he shouts up the stairs, “Dani, can we talk, please?”
Ricky is protective of his dad
Ricky is concerned that Garry might hurt his dad, and then tells Mark he is not feeling well, and cannot go to school.
Mark asks for help from Britt
Mark phones Britt to ask for help.
Ffion regards their wedding fiasco as "ancient history"
In the café, Jinx asks Ffion if yesterday’s events reminded her of their wedding, but she replies, “That’s all ancient history now.”   Jinx suggests, “With the adoption business, perhaps it would be an idea to get married – just a quiet low-key thing, you, me and Arwen.”   Ffion makes no comment, but hurries off to school.
"Trouble follows you around!"
Garry goes to Sheryl’s, where she tells him that trouble follows him around.   She will not tell the police on one condition;
Sheryl gives him his orders
“Make sure that no-one thinks the wedding was stopped because of me!   I mean it!”
Garry says that he has a lot of explaining to do, and it is not a good idea for Sheryl to see Dani, as, “You are part of this mess.”
The ever-vigilant Hywel is on the lookout
Sheryl tells him to go, but as he emerges from her front door, Hywel is watching from the café opposite.
Sheryl concocts a story to explain her wedding absence
Of course it is not long before he also visits Sheryl, asking why she was not at the wedding, and mentioning that people are saying she had something to do with what happened.   Sheryl concocts a story about Katie ringing her at the wrong moment.
Mark asks Britt if she can persuade Dani and Garry to talk to each other;  when Dani comes in, Britt cannot imagine that Garry would leave the chapel for no reason.
"Do you think I did something to make him leave?"
“Do you think I did something to make him leave?” replies Dani, then asks Mark to leave them alone for a minute.
Dani tells Britt the details of Garry's misdemeanours
Dani spells it out to Britt, “Garry’s stealing again, a deal went wrong and they kidnapped Sheryl.   The first thing he did when he heard was to run straight to save Sheryl, and left me in the chapel to look an idiot!”   When Britt does not believe it, Dani tells her, “Ask Garry!”
Garry, on the receiving end of a lecture from Britt
Britt goes to Garry’s flat and gives him a severe talking-to;  “If you weren’t up to your old tricks again, this wouldn’t have happened!   Just accept it’s your fault!”
"I had no choice"
When Garry argues that he had no choice but to save Sheryl, Britt advises that although he has “messed up big time”, he must give it time and be patient.
At the Deri, Sheryl reminds him of her conditions
Garry then goes to the Deri, where he receives a phone call from Sheryl reminding him of his obligation to tell everyone of her non-involvement, or she will ring the police.
Ffion leaves a message for Gethin (looks as if a bus is expected)
As Ffion walks past the bus stop, she leaves a phone message for Gethin, explaining that she is worried about him.
Ffion does not like being called "nosy"
Then she meets Hywel and asks about the upset at the chapel, but he curtly replies, “If you want to be nosy, talk to Dani at Maes-y-Deri.”
After imbibing a quantity of Dutch courage . . .
Just as Hywel walks into the Deri, Garry, who has downed a few whiskies, announces to the customers,
. . . Garry carries out Sheryl's instructions
“Right, I want to say something.   Yesterday at the wedding I had a case of cold feet – and now I regret it!   In case any of you think it had anything to do with Sheryl, it was just coincidence that she wasn’t there!   Dani is the one I love.”
When Diane remarks that she saw them together, he tells her, “She was telling me off – she couldn’t believe I had done something so stupid!
Diane makes her opinion of Garry quite clear, and Gwynfor is taken aback
Diane approaches him and empties her drink over his head;  “Another please, Britt, when you’re ready,” she says, calmly, as Garry leaves.
Ricky confides in Dani
Ricky locks the front door, and explains to Dani that he does not want anything to happen to his dad.   Dani assures him that Garry would not hurt him, as he has changed, but Ricky asks, “So why aren’t you talking to him?”
Ricky does not want his dad to die;  “I don’t want to feel like I did when I thought he was dead,” he confides to Dani, and she tells him that they cannot live their lives worrying about what might happen.
"We had some fun when I used to live here"
Ricky thinks she could live with them, like she used to, but Dani thinks that Garry would have something to say about that.
When Ffion arrives home, Jinx tells her to forget about getting married, as it is clear that she hates the idea.
Ffion wants to concentrate on one thing at a time
Ffion maintains that she simply does not want to talk about it now, as she has a lot on her mind, and emphasises that she has not changed her mind about adoption.
Ricky tells Mark of his anxiety
Mark arrives back from his round, and Ricky admits that he is worried that an accident may befall him.
"Ricky is afraid you really will die"
Dani explains, “Since you “died”, Ricky is afraid you really will die.”   Mark is adamant that he will get the school to allow Ricky to carry a mobile phone and to ring his dad whenever he is anxious.
"Talk to me when you feel like this"
“Talk to me when you feel like this – I know what it’s like to lose your dad!”   Then he remarks to Dani that talking really does help.
"I don't believe Garry's public confession"
Hywel reports to Sheryl, outside the salon, that Garry has made a public confession, but he finds it hard to believe.   Dai and Diane saw them together, “And I saw him leaving your flat this morning!”
"I have a right to know the truth," says self-righteous Hywel . . .
Hywel insists, “I have a right to know the truth!” to which Sheryl replies,
. . . "Just like Gaynor?"
“Just like Gaynor?   Right now I don’t want to talk to you.”
Britt visits Dani again and tells her that the last time Garry was like this was when Brandon was killed, and that he is letting everyone believe that it is his fault.
“He lied to me a few weeks ago – he swore he was not stealing again,” laments Dani, but Britt tells her that he will not change.   “I just want him to be honest with me;  I thought he had come to his senses.” says Dani.
Britt argues that he had no choice;  “What if Sheryl got killed because he stayed to get married?   How would you feel?   You’re friends.”
"Why hasn't she been to see me?"
Dani wonders, “If we’re such friends, why hasn’t she been to see me?”   Britt asks if she thinks that, with time, she will be able to forgive and forget, but Dani is very doubtful.
Garry appears to be in quite a state
Meanwhile, alone in the flat, Garry picks up Dani’s bouquet, looks at it, then beats it repeatedly and mercilessly on the sofa,
He knocks the living daylights out of the bouquet
until all the petals are strewn across the floor.
