Diane is fighting a losing battle with the zip
At Bryntirion, Diane is having problems doing up the zip on the dress she wants to wear to the wedding.   “Do you think I’ve put on weight?” she asks Dai, but he declines to answer.   “No food for me until after the wedding – I’ll fit into this dress, if it kills me!” she promises.
Meic takes his photographic gear . . .

Meic packs his video camera, in preparation for filming in APD, where he is sure that Dai will upstage everyone.
. . . but Anita is anxious about him
He dismisses Anita’s worries about exerting himself, and says that they will have dinner in the Deri tonight.
Mark practises his limited Spanish
Mark delivers post to the Deri, while practising Spanish with a tape;  he meets Gabriela and admits he cannot understand much Spanish.
Colin and his 16 pints of semi-skimmed
Colin comes in with four large bottles of milk, and looks jealous of Mark.
Photographer's-eye view of APD
Meic is filming Diane at APD when Gabriela walks in, and Diane introduces her to Meic Pierce;
Gabriela appears mesmerised by Meic Pierce
she appears to be quite overwhelmed, and stares, speechless, at him.
She suggests an adjustment to the camera
Then she suggests that he should turn off the backlight on the camera, to get more depth in the shot, and he finds that to be an improvement.   By this time Dai is waiting impatiently for his turn in the spotlight.
Dai doing a bit of over-acting
Dai over-acts, and Meic pleads, “Can’t you do it quietly?   It is interesting, watching someone working quietly without boasting,” he says.   Dai is offended;  “Me - boasting?”
Diane arrives, bringing biscuits
Diane takes a packet of biscuits for Eifion, also removing temptation for herself, and Eifion tells her he has been to the doctor, who diagnosed a slipped disc.
"Are you checking up on me?"
“Are you checking up on me?” he rudely demands, and after Diane has left, Angela rebukes him.   “Dai is just afraid to put his hand in his pocket!” Eifion comments.
Anita does not hear a word Diane is saying
Diane finds Anita in the cafĂ© and tells her of the weight problem, but Anita is too worried about Meic to take any notice.
Anita wants to spend more time with Meic
Diane asks, “Aren’t you glad he’s doing something, rather than giving up?” and Anita replies that she just wants to spend more time with him.
Anita sees Gabriela chatting to Anwen
When Anita sees Gabriela talking outside to Anwen, she comments, “She’s showing too much interest in everything, if you ask me!”
Gabriela is then "chatted up" by Colin
Then Colin meets Gabriela, and when she mentions Meic, he tells her that he was not so respectable when he was younger, and has been in jail.   He also tells her that he is off to visit Eifion, who has had a terrible back injury.   He has hopes of meeting her later in the Deri.
"This film is not about Dai Sgaffalde!"
Dai finds Meic filming in the back street, and tells him he can film the rugby team training this evening, under floodlights, describing it as, “Dramatic and atmospheric.”   Meic replies, “This film is not about Dai Sgaffalde!”
Colin discovers some unattended crutches . . .
Colin arrives at Angela’s back door, and there is no answer to his knock, so he goes inside and finds not Eifion, but his crutches by the sofa.
. . . and Eifion, very light on his feet
As he looks at them, Eifion comes bounding nimbly down the stairs, then stops dead when he sees Colin.
"Nice to see you on your feet!"
“Nice to see you on your feet,” says Colin, “Out with it!   You obviously don’t need these crutches.”
Eifion tells Colin all about it . . .
Eifion admits, “All right, there was no accident, I had enough of working for Dai!   If anyone asks, I’ve got a slipped disc, right?   Angela will be happy in the long run, as I’m suing APD, and I’ll give you 5% of the compo if you help me get photos of the yard and the ladder.”
. . . and for 10% of the compensation, they reach an agreement
Colin at first says, “This is fraud – you’re playing a dangerous game!” but when the percentage is raised to ten, he agrees.   Eifion argues, “It is only a matter of time before someone is injured, working there.”
They creep round the back of APD
At the back of APD, Eifion and Colin creep round the corner, and Colin, although reluctant, is persuaded by Eifion, who asks,
"Don't you want to see Dai get his comeuppance?"
“Don’t you want to see Dai get his comeuppance?”
While Colin goes inside to divert their attention, Eifion takes photographs of the relevant areas of the yard.
Something appears to be on Ricky's mind
Mark arrives home, after a hard day, carrying mail, and asks Ricky if he wants to do some Spanish tonight, but Ricky suggests tomorrow, or not at all.   Mark senses that something is wrong, but Ricky denies it.
Colin interrupts the smooth running of APD
In APD, Colin is telling ridiculous jokes, but when Dai objects that they have work to do, he changes his approach to wanting to buy a few inches of hosepipe, and then a paintbrush.
"This village is full of bonkers people!"
“If we ever needed proof that this village is full of bonkers people, we wouldn’t have to go far!” Dai remarks to Diane.
Gabriela asks Meic questions
Meic goes into the Deri, where Gabriela asks him questions about his children;  “Darren and his family are in Canada, and Kevin is . . . away at the moment,” Meic replies.   When Anita joins them, she objects to all the questions, and begins asking Gabriela some of her own;  “Do you have a husband and children?   Do you intend staying in Cwmderi over Christmas and New Year?”
Meic admonishes Anita
Meic reprimands her for all the question, but she replies that Gabriela is asking plenty of them.   Anita explains that she missed him today, and then concedes that he could invite Gabriela to join them for dinner.
They look at the photographs
When Angela catches Eifion and Colin looking at the photographs, Eifion tells her that he will be suing APD.
"Imagine the problems it will cause!"
Angela is furious;  “Imagine the problems it will cause between Jim and me – and Mam!”

Eifion gives Colin a knowing look
Eifion then tells her that in that case, he will not sue;  however he instructs Colin that he will need more photos to support his case, assuring him, “Angela won’t catch us out again!”
