Nansi tells her woes to Marian at Penrhewl
Nansi visits Marian, who says she has not heard from her since Denzil died;  Nansi emphasises how she misses him, and it looks as if she will soon lose Kevin.
Rhys tells his father that he is going out to do some training, but again goes to help Iolo at Diane’s;  later, Rhys does not tighten a pipe sufficiently, and the pair of them are soaked with water.   Iolo take a photo of them on his phone.
Chester comes clean about the defaced photo, but nothing else
Siôn returns from Aberystwyth and wonders why Chester is at home;  after Britt spins a tale about his being ill, Chester admits he has been suspended.   As he is only told about the defaced photo, Siôn considers the punishment to be unduly harsh, and he composes an e-mail to Ffion and to the governors.
Siôn composes an e-mail of complaint to the school
Britt tries to make light of the matter, but Siôn becomes more determined, saying that Ffion is getting her own back for the letters.
Nansi serves chips to Kevin and reminisces about the old days;  she says that Meic was not much of a father to him even then.   She reminds him that she is the opne looking after him now, but Kevin responds, “All you do is look after yourself;  perhaps losing me is what you deserve for being selfish!”
Jinx talks about his holiday, then looks at the latest on CnocCnoc
Jinx tells Hywel about the holiday in a log cabin in Pembrokeshire that Ffion, Arwen and he are having next week;  then he looks at the ubiquitous CnocCnoc on his phone, and remarks, “You didn’t tell me Rhys had a new job.”   Hywel dashes off home.
Nansi tells Cadno there is no reason to go to the police
Nansi tracks down Cadno in the shop, and wants to know what happened between her and Kevin.   Cadno relates how they had a night out, Kevin wanted more than a kiss, he was angry and she locked him out of the farm.   Nansi goes on about Kevin not having a bad bone in his body and how everyone is horrible to him.   “He didn’t harm you, so there’s no reason to go to the police,” she says.
Ffion is furious to receive Siôn's message
Ffion reads the e-mail on her laptop and is incensed;  she leaves a message for Jinx to come straight home when he has picked up Arwen.
Hywel swallows Rhys's tale of the plumbing being a holiday job
When Rhys arrives home, Hywel asks if he had a good training session, then asks why Rhys is lying to him;  “You’re still wearing your plumbing clothes,” he says.   Rhys manages to persuade him that this is only a temporary thing for the holiday, and he will get his coursework done.
Then he goes to see Iolo, who still advises that he should tell Hywel the truth.   Rhys says he enjoys the job, and reiterates that there will be no more boring lectures and essays.   “University isn’t the place for me.”
Arwen, still in her painting apron, home from nursery
When Jinx gets back with Arwen, covered in paint from nursery, Ffion tells him about the e-mail, and they hurry round to see Siôn.   The governors want to see Ffion next week, which means the holiday must be cancelled.
Siôn is convinced that Ffion over-reacted;  she has other ideas
Siôn maintains that Ffion over-reacted, and this shows her lack of experience;  he is looking forward to meeting with the governors about the matter.   Ffion says that Chester needed to be disciplined and is confident that the governors will support her decision.
Nansi tells Kevin that she has spoken to Cadno and persuaded her to take it no further;  “See, I’m not selfish all the time,” she says, “It’s you and me against the world.”
