Sheryl says, "Don't help me, go and be with Dani."

Dani assembles all that she needs to take to the clinic, and Garry pops out to get her a magazine from the shop; on the way he sees Sheryl, putting up some bunting outside the salon. She wants to attract more customers, so she can afford to visit Wil. Then Cadno passes, wants to get Bobi’s hair cut, and says she admires Sheryl for standing up against Kevin.

As he helps with the bunting, Gethin hears about the abortion

Next is Gethin, and Sheryl mentions the abortion being today, so, as he was unaware of this, he rushes to Garry’s flat, and insists on seeing Dani.

Gethin is insistent about Dani keeping the baby, but to no avail

He demands that Dani listen to what he has to say, that the baby is his niece or nephew, and Daniel’s cousin, and she should not be missing out on family life. Dani replies that their family is a mess, but he talks of a clean slate and putting the past behind her. “What if I took the baby and looked after it? That’s better than the other choice, isn’t it, Garry?” he asks, but Garry remains silent.

Garry is finding it difficult to keep his emotions in check

After Dani has made Gethin leave, Garry admits that he must accept Dani’s choice; “If I can’t be a father, neither can Gethin. I hate that you’re doing this, but I’ve accepted it – I have to lose the baby to keep you!” he tells her.

Mark has borrowed a book from Siôn on Welsh terminology and has found the words for “second cousin” and “mistress”; the others in the Deri wonder why he cannot think of something better to do than this genealogy.

Later at home he seems to discover something tremendous, but when Siôn calls, Mark is brought down to earth. He thought he was related to Sir Tom Jones, and envisages women throwing their knickers at him, but Siôn points out that although the date of birth is the same, the Tom Jones on Mark’s laptop was born in the wrong place, and Sir Tom’s original surname was Woodward.

Siôn assures him that everyone makes mistakes; “It’s not unusual,” he quips, then finds that Mark may be related to Mari Jones of Bala , who walked 25 miles to buy a Welsh Bible. However, Mark would prefer to be related to a sex symbol. As Siôn leaves, he mentions the unveiling of the community mural, tomorrow at 2.00pm; Mark is angry that Gemma will not be there, as it was her idea, and says, “Wait till I see that Jinx!”

Angela discovers the review on Holadvisor, and is rather excited

Angela is looking at her laptop, and, choking on her tea, suddenly shouts, “Aargh! Felicity has reviewed us on Holadvisor!” The review mentions a great teepee, tastefully furnished, warmly welcomed by Angela and Eifion – a great place.

She also reveals they have another booking for Whitsun: a couple with an under-five child, staying for a week.

As Angela congratulates herself, and Cadno looks quietly disgusted, she says what they need is national press coverage.

Every time Cadno and Eifion have a chat, Angela breaks it up

Later, as Cadno and Eifion are talking about little Arthur’s progress, Angela once again bounds in, with the news that, “Lifestyle Wales magazine want to do an article on us, for their series on Alternative Breaks in West Wales.” She has spoken to a friend of a friend, and they are coming next week to do interviews and take photos.

Eifion embraces Angela; “She’s a hell of a woman, isn’t she?” he enthuses, and Cadno replies, without feeling, “Yes. Congratulations.”
