"Dear Dani, Having a great time in Nice.
Looking forward now to catching a train to Milan.  Gem xx"
Garry leaves for Swansea, to look at some cars;  Dani, who has not slept well, and who has just looked at a postcard from Gemma, has pains in her stomach, and as they become worse, she calls Gethin.
Gethin finds Dani doubled up with pain and rushes her to hospital
He locks up the garage, and when he sees her condition and hears that she is losing the baby, rushes her to hospital.   She insists that he does not tell Garry, but eventually Gethin does ring him and tells him to come to the hospital.
Kevin is reluctant to leave the house, but Nansi insists
Jim can be heard working upstairs on the bathroom when Nansi arrives at Bryntirion;  Kevin does not want to show his face in the village, but Nansi orders him to get dressed, so she can take him to the Deri.
The customers sit up and take notice when Nansi speaks
In the meantime, she visits the café, where Debbie wants nothing to do with her, but when Nansi asks, in a loud voice, “Why marry him if you thought he was a rapist?” and all the customers, including Geraint look, Debbie invites her upstairs.   She tells Nansi that she originally believed Kevin when he said it was a mistake, but Kevin later admitted to her what he had done.   Nansi says that in that position, “I would have kicked him somewhere tender!”
Debbie explains everything to Nansi, who refers to Kevin as "a rapist"
Debbie admits that weeks and months later, living with him became harder when she learned the truth, and she wanted everything she could get out of him;  “Everyone wants a better future for their family,” she argues, but Nansis response is, “But we wouldn’t all sleep with a rapist to get it!
Garry arrives at Dani's bedside
When Garry arrives at the hospital, he first shouts at Gethin for closing the garage.   Dani is having a scan, and the doctor tells her that she was expecting twins;  she has lost one of them, but the other has a strong heartbeat and is developing normally.
"I'm going to be a dad," says Garry, incredulously
Garry looks at the scan on the screen and says, “I’m going to be a dad!”   Dani’s blood pressure is normal, so she is able to go home, but will need lots of rest and TLC.
When Nansi gets back to Bryntirion, she drags Kevin to the Deri, despite his protests;  she argues that people will think he is staying away because he is guilty.   At the Deri, Gethin is trying to contact Dani;  in the end she assures him she is all right.   Nansi and Kevin walk in, and the few customers look and point;  Kevin tries to talk to Gethin, but he drinks up and leaves, and Gwynfor and Gwen just stare at him.   Nansi tries to assure him that in a month all this will be over.
Gwynfor and Gwen show hostility toward Kevin
Back at home, Garry is fussing over Dani, telling her that what matters now are her and the baby;  “Let me spoil you for the next seven or eight months, starting now, with a cuppa.”   Later he asks her, “Didn’t you think of telling me?   What stopped you?”
Dani replies, “I didn’t know how I felt about it – I don’t know whether I want this baby or not!   I’ll tell you when I know,” and dissolves into tears.
