Nansi receives a somewhat less than cordial welcome from Meic
Nansi comes out of the door of the Deri and sees Meical Pierce;  he says, “I can guess why you’re here, to shoot your mouth off!”   He agrees to give her ten minutes, and Sheryl watches them go into his house.   Nansi accuses him of persecuting his son, but Meic replies that he knows Sheryl well enough to realise she is telling the truth;  “I’ve known plenty of liars, Nansi Furlong,” he adds.
She tells him that prison will not benefit anyone, but Meic says it will give him time to think where he went wrong.   When Nansi refers to Kevin’s “one little mistake”, Meic tells her that Kevin has changed, and thinks he can do as he likes;  he admitted what he did, and said he regretted it, but only because that was what Meic wanted to hear.
Jim warns Kevin not to upset Diane or there will be consequences
Jim arrives at Diane’s to start work on her bathroom, and enlists Kevin as unpaid labourer, warning, “Take advantage of Diane, and I’ll sort you out!   You ought to pack up and scarper – no-one would miss you in Cwmderi.”
A rather abrasive atmosphere between Shery and Nansi
Sheryl goes round to Meic’s, ignoring his advice to come back later, and confronts Nansi.   She stresses that Kevin raped her, and she will get justice in court.   Nansi retaliates that Kevin was fine until Sheryl ruined his life, and orders Sheryl out of Meic’s house.
At Penrhewl the two competing cooks are preparing the family meal;  Eileen and Jim arrive as Angela and Cadno each tell Eifion they have cooked his favourite food.
Sioned tells Nansi that Kevin has a bad temper
Meanwhile, Nansi, staying at the Deri, quizzes Sioned about what she thinks about Kevin;  Sioned is non-committal, but says he does have a bad temper.
Meic apologises to Sheryl for contacting Nansi;  he had hoped that she would knock some sense into Kevin, but Sheryl suspects he felt guilty at turning on his own son, and hoped that Nansi would undo what he had done.
Sheryl thinks Meic is feeling guilty for turning against his son
Despite Meic stressing that Kevin deserves punishment, she throws him out.
In the Deri, Rhys persuades Iolo, who is having a game of darts, to keep the secret for a few days;  he says he will tell his father after he has got himself a good job.
Iolo agrees, temporarily, to keep Rhys's secret from Hywel
Nansi arrives at Sheryl’s door to tell her that she will be staying for a while, in order to “Keep an eye on Kevin,” as she appears to be having second thoughts about his innocence.   As soon as she is gone, Sheryl goes to tell Meic, and assures him, “No matter what he or his solicitor throw at me, I’m going to win!   Kevin is going to pay!”
The family enjoy their comprehensive meal at Penrhewl, starting with smoked salmon;  at the end of the meal there is ill-feeling that eating Angela’s Tiramisu meant that no-one could manage any of Cadno’s Trifle.   Eileen diplomatically suggests that the men adjourn to the Deri, while they do the washing-up.
Jim objects to Eifion joking about Angela's mother, Eileen
Upstairs in the Deri, Jim, Ed and Eifion have a few drinks, referring to the fact they all have Angela in common;  Eifion jokes, “At least, I’m not with her mother,” which does not go down well with Jim.   Eifion admits, “Sioned was fun – but a mistake!”
The rivalry over Eifion begins to escalate
When Sioned thanks Angela for the meal, Cadno emphasises that she planned it, and that Angela is not “family” to her – she only sleeps there occasionally.   Angela boasts, “Eifion is with me now,” and Cadno replies, “You can have him, but you won’t steal my home!”
Cadno says Angela is turning the children against her, and she has no idea how difficult it is for her, so Angela curtly replies, “You know where the door is!” adding that Cadno left the children with Eifion for months.
The argument continues: "You know where the door is," says Angela
Sioned leads Angela away, while Eileen consoles Cadno, who says that she keeps making a fool of herself.   Eileen tells her she must concentrate on Bobi, Arthur and Penrhewl, but Cadno wails, “With her around?”
