Kevin's breakfast-making interrupted by DS Sophie Fielding
Nansi complains to Kevin about the standard of food in the café, so he is about to cook her a full breakfast when the police station rings him;  they want to speak to him again.
Lois tells Gaynor she has to go out, and heads again to Avalon Antiques where she finds the two pictures missing from the window, but they are available inside.
Gaynor discovers the truth about the bird pictures
When she gets them home, Gaynor sees them, and Lois gives the excuse she is looking after them while her dad spring-cleans;  Gaynor sees through this, and once told the truth, goes to confront Colin.
Bobi, displaying his healthy appetite down on the farm
At Penrhewl, Bobi is eating when Angela comes downstairs and tells Cadno what a good night she and Eifion had at The Bull.   When Cadno goes to attend to baby Arthur, Angela remarks to Eifion that she has changed and hardly says a word.
Eifion assures Cadno he will deal with Kevin by extreme means
Cadno is worried that Kevin will come to the farm after what she told the police, but Eifion assures her, “If he comes here, I’ll sort him out, with an axe if necessary!”
Kevin is not so confident when told of Cadno's allegation
Kevin seems very self-assured with DS Fielding at the station;  “If you expect me to say anything without my solicitor present, you can go and whistle!”   When Elin arrives, and has had some time with her client, the interview starts, and DS Fielding tells him of the allegation from Cadno – that he told her he had raped Sheryl.   Kevin denies that he tried to force his way in at the farm, but the DS reminds him that his father was there, and says it was not so innocent.   He dismisses this latest development as a plot by the two women;  afterwards Elin tells him not to worry.
As they leave the station, Kevin is worried at there being another witness against him, but Elin says she has discovered that Meic and Debbie, “Used to live together,” and describes that as, “Very useful.”   She assures Kevin, “If you’re telling the truth, you have nothing to worry about.”
Gaynor tells Colin a thing or two about his spending habits
Gaynor launches into a tirade about selling the family heirlooms;  “Lois paid £250 — aren’t you ashamed?”   Colin tries a weak argument:  “I wouldn’t have started gambling if you hadn’t won that money at the races,” but Gaynor insists, “It’s your mess, no-one else’s!   How much do you owe?”
Gaynor takes charge of the situation, and gives Colin some orders
She orders him to give her his wallet, extracts two credit cards and cuts them in half.   “You will pay off the cards and stop gambling,” she orders, adding that she will pay his next card bill, and reimburse Lois, then it is up to him, and it is the last time she will bail him out.
Eifion goes to the shop to talk to Eileen about Cadno’s fears;  she replies that if Kevin was to go near her, it would be a sign of guilt.   Eifion says that he and Angela will support Cadno.
An apparent truce between Angela and Cadno;  Sioned is not convinced
Later they all meet in the Deri, where Eifion apologises to Cadno for his treatment of her, and Angela agrees, hoping that she and Cadno can be friends.   Meanwhile Sioned, behind the bar, shakes her head in disbelief.   Cadno says that Kevin’s mother is, “Like a rottweiler.”
Colin goes to Gaynor’s to apologise to Lois, and offers her all the small change in his pockets as a first part of the repayment, but she refuses the money;  “The money doesn’t matter – I just wanted the birds back in the family, where they belong.
Colin reconciled to Lois
Everyone messes up sometimes,” she says.   Colin replies, “Some more than others.”   They hug, as Gaynor watches from the doorway.
