Jinx about to take Arwen to CwmFM
Ffion is worried about her meeting with the governors, and Jinx has to take Arwen with him to CwmFM when he presents the phone-in.
Nansi is not happy with the comfort of the sofa, but gets no sympathy from Diane;  when asked to look at the loose seat on the toilet, Kevin says he has more important things to think about, and the problem is probably her bottom being too big.
Nansi appears to be getting worried that Kevin may be guilty
Nansi says he is upset that she is not being a character witness, and refers to “poisonous wagging tongues”, to which Diane replies, “Don’t you think he may have done something terrible?   Cadno and Sheryl realise he is dangerous and has to be stopped.”   Diane then reveals that he lost his temper with her the other day.
Mark is concerned that his family tree investigations have reached a halt, and confides to Gaynor that his dad’s grandad was “illegitimate.”
Mark, pleased to hear that "imbeciles" are not necessarily "doolally"
Later, Diane comes in, and Mark is concerned that some half a dozen of his forebears are described as “imbeciles”, but Diane assures him that this might well have meant deaf, mute or having other disabilities;  he is relieved to hear that they were not all “doolally.”
Jinx plays with Arwen between running the phone-in
At the studio, Jinx plays with Arwen, then introduces the day’s topic, “Children at home during the holidays, and consequent problems for parents.”   Then Siôn arrives to promote the services at Bethania – 2.00pm on Good Friday and 10.00am and 6.00pm on Easter Day.   He mentions that he will be preaching at each of these, and also that he found it inconvenient to have a child at home while preparing his sermons;  this because the school takes the easy way out on discipline.

The live argument begins to get personal
He also refers to a “vengeful” teacher, misusing power, so Jinx opines that if the parents brought up their children properly, this would not arise.   Siôn then rants about his wife being the best parent in Cwmderi;  of course, this broadcast is being heard in the Deri by Hywel and Gaynor, and they rush to the studio.   In the chip shop, Britt leaves the place in Madge’s charge and heads the same way.
Hywel is furious that this is all going on
Hywel is furious at the argument broadcast live;  “This is a radio station, not Speaker’s Corner,” then Britt has a go at Siôn for revealing that her son was suspended.   She drags Siôn out, as he threatens to write to OFCOM, the Western Post and Golwg (Welsh Language Newspaper).
Ffion after being exonerated by the governors
Ffion reports to Gaynor that the governors backed her unanimously, but then she hears about the afternoon’s happenings at CwmFM, which somewhat spoils her elation.
Jinx tries to persuade Ffion not to shout at him
When she gets home she admonishes Jinx for his part in the altercation, baiting Siôn;  “If you wave sausages in front of a dog, you might get bitten!” she says, “You’ve opened a new can of worms – you might lose your job!”
Nansi is becoming more doubtful, and asks Kevin if he did rape Sheryl;  he replies, as usual, that she misunderstood.   When he asks if she believes him, she says, “I want to, but I doubt if the court will,” and does not know what she will do if he is sent to prison.
Kevin’s demeanour changes, and he insists, “I can take care of myself;  it won’t happen!”   He maintains that he holds a “trump card” which Elin will use when the time is right — the truth about Meic and Debbie, having an affair and plotting to get him out of the picture, with the connivance of Sheryl and Cadno.   “They can share a bed, and the café!
Kevin seems to be confident that this "trump card" will work
If I can turn the tables on Dad – great!   He put pressure on the girls to testify against me!”
Nansi naïvely swallows this line, and agrees that Meic should be in court, rather than poor little Kevin.
