Kevin, freezing cold from sleeping in his "tent with a view"
Kevin creeps back to Meic’s house, wanting a hot shower but when Meic says he cannot stay there, he blames Anita making herself feel better and walking all over his father.   Meic tells him that he needs help, but Kevin storms out again.
Ed rings DJ to offer him the wedding catering job, after being impressed by the meals he produced last night;  Sioned says that she will make sure DJ behaves himself – “I can be quite scary!” she says.   She wants to check some details with a solicitor, if she decides to sue.
In the salon, Dani again tells Sheryl that she does not have the money, and that the salon’s insurance should pay.   When Sheryl is worried about the establishment’s reputation, Dani shouts, “You only care about yourself and the salon;  you’re angry because you don’t have Garry – or any other man – and don’t see it from anyone else’s point of view!”
She walks out, saying that she will not be back.   Back home, she tells Garry that Sheryl will not budge, and is angry that Garry spoke to her behind Dani’s back, but he assures her that they will sort it out, one way or another.
Garry with his £500 wad of notes
Soon afterwards, Garry appears upstairs in the Deri and puts a £500 roll of notes down in front of Sioned, warning her that by the time she pays solicitors, she will not have much more than that left.   Sioned tries to demand £800, but he picks up the money, so she capitulates;  he watches her delete the pictures of her injury from her laptop, and gives her the money.
Garry tells Sheryl that the problem is sorted, but Dani could have sued her
Garry reports to Sheryl that the matter is now closed, but does point out that she expected Dani to do something she was not qualified for, so Dani could have sued her.   Then he returns home to tell Dani the good news, and that all she has to do is ask for her job back.
Eifion's instruction to "creosote the gate."
Cadno finds that Eifion has gone to Swansea, taking Marian and the children, and has left her instructions to “creosote the gate.”   She walks into the village and encounters Kevin;  they compare their problems, then go to the Deri to drown them.
There they commiserate, and a few drinks later, Kevin is stroking her cheek when Meic comes in and looks concerned.   Soon after, when they are having problems standing up, Meic volunteers to walk Cadno home, but she will have none of it, and leaves with Kevin.
Garry and Dani enter the Deri, and before Dani can ask Sheryl for her job back, Sheryl reinstates her, and apologises;  Garry smiles.   Sioned tells Ed that she did well to get £500 from Garry and £100 from Sheryl;  the solicitor told her that big payouts only apply if the hair is damaged, and does not grow back within a year.
Sioned reveals she has made as much as she could have expected
Outside the Deri, Kevin and Cadno kiss, and this is repeated on the way back to Penrhewl, but when they arrive there, Cadno has second thoughts, saying that this is too early to bring someone home.
Kevin, rejected again, starts to become vicious
Kevin does not handle this rejection well;  “You’re all the same,” he slurs, “Don’t play the innocent.”   When she says she has changed her mind, and tries to go into the farm, he grabs her roughly by the arm, saying, “You’re playing games with me, just like Sheryl!”
She manages to break free and runs to the house, as Meic shouts at him to stop.   He has followed them to the farm, and Kevin snarls at him, “Why have you followed us here?   Are you trying to ruin my life?”
Meic warns Kevin that he will call the police
“You’re making a good job of that yourself,” replies Meic.
“What are you going to do about it,” Kevin demands.
“Call the police,” is Meic’s answer;  “Leave her alone – I’ll stay here all night if I have to.”   Kevin pushes past him and disappears into the night.
