13 March 2014

Sioned, wearing a pink woolly hat, marches to the salon and shows Sheryl her blistered forehead;  Dani rushed in, and is aghast when she sees, asking, “What did you do?”
"I want compensation, and I'm going to get it!"
Sioned replies, “I didn’t do it — you did it!   You were not concentrating, but worrying about the competition.   ‘Sorry’ isn’t good enough;  I want compensation, and I’m going to get it!”   She questions whether Dani is qualified to carry out hair colouring, and says Sheryl should be ashamed to be running a business like this.
Dani gets all uptight about her problem;  Garry calms her down
Dani dashes round to the garage and rants about her problem to Garry;  he tries to calm her down and says the salon will have insurance for this sort of thing.
DJ comes downstairs and Dai is keen to make sure he goes;  DJ tells him that he’s changed, but Dai remarks, “Yes, and I’m a penguin!”   After DJ is safely out of the way, Dai prepares for his trip to Spain, with tickets, passport and sombrero;  the taxi arrives and off he goes.
Gemma returns to Mark’s and says she stayed away to show him what it’s like without her;  he insists that it would be best if she found someone her own age, they must be responsible.
Gemma tells Mark she adores him just the way he is
She massages his neck and tells him she adores him.
Sheryl takes flowers to Sioned as a peace offering, but Sioned speaks of negligence, and reclaiming legal costs, so Sheryl offers to settle in cash;  Sioned demands £1,000, by Monday, or she will contact her solicitor.
Sioned decides that she wants £1,000 by Monday, or else . . .
Cadno is in her walking gear, and as she hikes through the woods she encounters Kevin, who is living up there in a tent;  “Do you want to walk with the most dangerous man in Cwmderi?” he asks her.   When he says that his problems are all his own fault, and that he wants to run away, Cadno says that she tried that, and was condemned for leaving her children.
View of distant Cwmderi, from Cadno's and Kevin's picnic spot
They stop for a sandwich, overlooking the village, and Kevin asks her if she remembers when she and Colin went on strike in the café.   He cannot forgive himself, but Cadno thinks that he deserves to give himself another chance.
Gemma and Mark go to the Deri, where she tells him not to go to nightclubs, to stop too much strenuous running and to talk to her and not keep stuff in his head;  what she wants is to curl up on the sofa with him and watch a film.
Diane, taken in again by the devious DJ
As soon as the coast is clear, DJ is back at Bryntirion, spinning a tale of how Diane is not safe on her own, with that Irishman around;  he would never forgive himself if anything happened to Diane.   She laps this up, and agrees he can stay;  he sats down with a self-satisfied smile.
Sheryl returns to the salon, and tells Dani that in order to protect the reputation of the salon, Sioned must be kept quiet, so Dani must pay her £1,000 by Monday.   “Where am I going to find that sort of money?” demands Dani.   While Garry is making the dinner, Dani is panicking again, but he manages to persuade her that the answer is to make sure that she wins the competition, for which the prize is (conveniently) £1,000.
"You're right — I'm going to win, and I'm not giving anything to anyone!"
Dani then changes her tune and asserts that yes, she will win, but she will not be giving any of that money to anyone!
