12 March 2014 (2nd)

Sioned tells Ed that the wedding might not happen, as she has found that it is unlawful for a mother-in-law to marry her son-in-law;  she will think about it while she has her hair done at the salon.
Dani on the phone, when she should be dealing with Sioned's hair
The salon is very busy, with Gwen there, and later Anwen, so Sheryl asks Dani to deal with the colouring of Sioned’s hair;  she keeps getting interrupted by phone calls about the contest, and is not concentrating on what she is doing.   Eventually Sheryl has to take over applying the mixture to Sioned’s hair.
Horse-racing tip from an unknown "rough" Irishman
Colin, who has told Iolo that he has a cash-flow problem, is counting his money in the shop when an old Irishman arrives, and (in English) recommends betting on Jericho, in the 2 o’clock at Ludlow.   The stranger then asks where he can find Dai Ashurst, and Colin tells him;  no sooner has he left than Dai himself arrives, and when Colin tells him, rushes back home.   He finds DJ preparing sandwiches, hears a knock on the door, and (again in English) invites the Irishman, Rory by name, to come in.
"Oh, DJ appears to have popped out for a while — have a sandwich."
By this time, DJ has escaped via the back door, so Dai offers Rory sandwiches and learns that DJ slept with his wife.   “He’ll be back, like a parasite!   When you catch him, give him a damn good hiding!” says Dai.
The launch of Cegin Cawl, with Megan getting her picture in the paper
The ceremonial presentation of a giant cheque to Cegin Cawl is photographed, and later Gethin arrives at Megan’s house;  after ringing the bell and getting no answer, he lets himself in, finds her book of passwords, and logs on to her bank’s website.
Gethin snoops into Megan's bank account
“Well, well, well,” he mutters.   Just then, he hears Megan return, and spins her a tale of finding the door open, so he thought he had better stay until she got back.   She is grateful for his help in keeping the house secure, and gives him tea, during which he slips her book of passwords back on to the table.   Megan remarks that Gethin should be wary of Dai Ashurst;  “I’ve come across his type before – he likes to draw attention to himself.”   Gethin asks, “You think he’s jumping on the bandwagon?”
Colin on his smartphone bets £500 on the horse, Jericho, as advised by the Irishman, and later, as he follows the race on his tablet, sees the horse win, at 5/1;  he jumps up and down, shouting, “£2,500 — the luck of the Irish!”
Colin celebrates winning £2,500 on the 2 o'clock at Ludlow
DJ comes back a while later, complaining about, “That nutter, Rory!   He would have killed me!”.   Dai tells him he should have thought of that before sleeping with his wife.   He threatens to immediately phone Rory to say that DJ is back unless DJ leaves the next morning;  “I haven’t had a minute’s peace since you’ve been here,” Dai laments.   DJ wonders how he will tell Diane about what has happened, and Dai advises that he should not tell her, and just slip away quietly.
DJ calls his uncle, “Judas,” but Dai insists, Your father would be proud of me — I didn’t want Diane to see your blood all over the sofas.   You’re a good chef – you can find a job, but a long way from here!”
Ed finds Sioned crying upstairs at the Deri;  the hair treatment at the salon has caused her head to be covered with red blisters.   Ed says she should see a doctor, or he will take her to hospital.
Poor disfigured Sioned, determined to be compensated
Sioned is adamant:  “The salon did it — the salon will pay for this, I swear!”
