"It's the end of an era!"
Dai and Diane stand outside the chippy, looking up at the Deri;  “It’s the end of an era,” says Diane, and wonders whether they are doing the right thing.
Dai is hopeful there will be no other bidders
Dai hopes that Meic will not have enough pledges, then they could be the only bidders.   Eifion passes in his car, on the way to buy a set of golf clubs for the tournament, which tends to irritate Dai
Gethin begins searching for evidence
At the garage, Gethin searches through the filing cabinets for any evidence of what Garry is up to, and only finds a key to his flat.   Iolo comes in, fancying a meal down at the Bull, and Gethin explains what he is going to do.
He tells Iolo he is going to search Garry's flat
He urges Iolo to go and keep Dani busy at Y Felin, while he conducts his search, but Iolo tries to dissuade him.
Dani leaves the salon to go and look after the children;  Gaynor comes in for a quick manicure, as Hywel is taking her to a Swansea restaurant, something to do with CwmFM.
Sheryl's laptop is playing up again!
Sheryl discovers yet another problem with her laptop, with disappearing salon files, so Gaynor summons Hywel.
Dai is complaining about Eifion again
At home, Dai is still angry with Eifion, telling Diane that he was a sheep-stealer, and a zebra never changes his stripes.   “He can’t play golf, and is not fit to be Chairman!” he rants to Diane, who is dusting the banisters.
"Are there any ways Eifion cuts corners?"
He then interrogates DJ about any ways in which Eifion cuts corners.   DJ is no help, but does mention that he was tempted to use some red diesel in the 4x4, but did not, as Cadno would have sacked him.
Dai wants DJ to steal red diesel from the farm and put it in Angela's car
He is then stupid enough to agree to Dai’s plan of introducing a little red diesel into Angela’s car, parked in the back street;  Dai plays on his gullibility, and promises him the captain’s job when he is reinstated as Chairman.   “I’m sure you did worse when you were in Ballykissangel,” says Dai.
"Oh look, the two anti-virus systems are incompatible"
At the salon, Hywel finds that he “inadvertently” did not delete the old anti-virus when he installed a new one, and tells Sheryl he works faster with a cuppa.
"I wanted an excuse to see you again," smarms Hywel
He soon puts it right, again, and admits that it was an excuse to see Sheryl again.   “So you forgot to delete it deliberately?” says Sheryl.
"He looks just like Dai Ashurst!"
He has also installed a little “stress-buster” for her;  “That little goblin there – he’s the spitting image of Dai Ashurst!” he tells her.   Sheryl gets involved with the game – “Look, Dai Ashurst disappearing in a puff of smoke!”   Hywel wishes the rugby club committee could do that.
Gethin, about to carry out his search
Gethin carefully lets himself into the flat with 2B on the door, and starts searching for anything incriminating.
Painting not very lifelike giraffes
Meanwhile, Dani is painting with Catrin and Aaron, but not producing a convincing giraffe, when Iolo arrives;  conveniently she squirts yellow paint on to her dress, so Iolo insists he will look after the children while she goes home to change.
Iolo will stay with the children, while Dani changes
“I’m an expert at tidying up,” he jokes.
DJ must be thicker than we suspected
DJ, with a fuel can in his hand, creeps towards Angela’s car, but is surprised when Eifion gets out of it, and quickly ditches the can behind a wheely-bin.
"You're a good influence on the boys"
Eifion thanks him for all he does at the farm, telling him he is a good influence on the boys.   “They’re a lot less trouble than Uncle David,” DJ replies.   Eifion agrees, “Who knows what he’ll do next!” and promises DJ a couple of pints when the Deri re-opens.
"We have had a tip-off, sir"
Soon afterwards we see two police officers escorting Eifion to the car, as an informant has tipped them off about red diesel.   Eifion is very put out about this.
"Be careful around Hywel!"
Angela goes to the salon to make an appointment, and warns Sheryl about Hywel and his “after-sales service”, as she had little “fling” with him a while ago, instigated by some so-called computer repairs.   “Be careful around Hywel,” Angela advises.
Angela has a shrewd idea who is behind this
As she leaves the salon, she sees police by her car, and Eifion explains what happened.   The two officers report there was no trace of red diesel, and Angela marches across to APD and confronts Dai;
Dai is vehemently condemned
“You tipped them off!”   DJ tells Eifion he has a couple of ideas about the club he would like to discuss;  “I like a chairman who listens,” he says pointedly.
Gethin finds some hidden money
Gethin has looked inside and underneath everything in the flat, and eventually finds, under the false bottom of a drawer, some bundles of notes.   He pockets some odd notes with them, just as Dani arrives home, and he replaces the drawer.
Dani is not entirely convinced by his explanation
He explains that he was trying to escape from number 7, where Iolo and his OCD are driving him mad and are “unbearable”.   Dani announces that Iolo is at Y Felin, not at number 7.
"You set me up, didn't you?"
When Gethin gets home, he blames Iolo for setting him up, but Iolo protests, “Friends don’t use each other.”   When Gethin reveals he found a wad of cash, about £10,000, Iolo is afraid he is going to steal it.   Gethin replies, “I just want to find out more – so I could get a share of it!”
"Now you're taking advantage!"
Iolo is disgusted;  “You started by worrying about your sister – now you’re taking advantage!”
Gethin simply tells him, “We’ll see how things go.”
