Ed wants the place valued as soon as possible
Mark delivers some bills to Angela’s, handing them to Sioned, just as Ed is asking a surveyor from Tomos ac Ellis for a valuation of the Deri as soon as possible.
Sioned having a nose at Angela's bank statement
Sioned is on the phone, trying unsuccessfully to get a loan when Angela returns home, and finds her snooping at a bank statement.
It's about time Gemma started working again
Gemma is actually making some jewellery, but Mark objects to all her materials on the table;  “You should be doing this in the business units,” he tells her.
Rush Hour in the café – can Gwen cope with all these customers?
In the extremely busy café, Eileen says she must be the only person not to know that the Deri is for sale.   Gemma tells Mark that she wants to sell her jewellery at craft fairs in Cardiff and Aber.
"Glad to see you back together again!"
Jinx tells them it is good to see them together again, and Gemma corrects him, “We’re not together,” Mark adding that they are, “Just friends.”
"He's only just got over you – so stay away!"
When Gemma goes to the counter for their coffees, Colin whispers, “Friends, is it?   He’s only just got over you – so stay away!”
A cute little cake from Elliw
Ffion finds a cake on her desk at school, with a message of thanks from Elliw.
She is much happier today
Later, she sees the girl, looking much happier, now that she has sorted out things with her father;  she is still undecided what to do in the future, and Ffion asks if she has considered adoption.
"A lot of families would love to raise your baby," — meaning "me"!
“A lot of families would love to raise your baby,” she tells Elliw, “But you would have to be 100% sure that it was the right decision.”
Sioned makes an unsuccessful approach to Meic
Sioned goes to see Meic;  “You’re a successful businessman,” she says, “How about investing in the Deri?”   Meic sounds apologetic:  “I know you’re in financial trouble, but if you are trying to borrow money, you’ve wasted a journey.”   When she raises the “lottery win” rumour, he says it is total nonsense, and that he has been thinking of a co-operative running the Deri.
This angers Sioned, who says it is not on the market yet, and he is just “twisting the knife.”
"I pity you, Sioned"
As she hurries off, saying she is wasting her time, Meic whispers, “I pity you, Sioned.”
Gemma is back to manipulating Mark
Gemma spins a yarn to Mark that Beth was going to give her a lift to the craft fair at Cardiff on Saturday, but she had to cancel.   “I can’t go on the bus with all this stuff, and I really wanted to go,” she whines, so eventually Mark agrees to drive her there.
"Right, how much do you want?"
Sioned’s next stop is her mother, who asks if she has made up with Ed;  Sioned says that Ed cannot keep the doors of the Deri open.   Eileen knows what is coming next, asking, “How much do you want?” and Sioned tells her, “£15,000!”
All Eileen's money is already tied up
They continue the chat in the flat above the shop, where Eileen explains all her money is tied up in the shop and Penrhewl.   It is Sioned’s opinion that her mother does not have to invest in Penrhewl;  “I have to save the Deri!   Without it, what else do I have?”
Eileen hears about the £20,000 restaurant scam
Eileen insists that Sioned must be honest with her about their financial straits, and she reveals the so-called “restaurant investment” scam.   Eileen tells Sioned that she will talk to Jim about it, which Sioned takes as a positive sign.
Ffion tells Jinx about the pregnant year 11 pupil
Jinx returns home to find Ffion sorting out Arwen’s baby clothes;  she tells him about the pregnant year 11 pupil, and that she raised the subject of adoption, but Elliw was hesitant to give her baby to strangers.
"You are sorting out Babygros for Elliw's baby"
Jinx replies, “Unlike it going to someone she knew?   You mean that it would be easier for you!   You are sorting out Babygros for Elliw’s baby.”
Ffion defiantly exclaims that it is not because she wants Elliw’s baby;  “I’m not that selfish!” she insists.
The quiche ends up as a squashed mess
Gemma has cooked a very nice-looking quiche for Mark, to thank him for agreeing to take her to Cardiff;  however, when carrying it to the table, she trips on Ricky’s trainer, and the quiche is deposited upside-down on the table.
Gemma is raging about Ricky leaving his things around
She is absolutely furious, and is not placated at all when Mark says that he does not like quiche anyway.   Later, in a further attempt to ingratiate herself with him, she buys two pizzas.
I do believe that is Gwynfor's workplace in the background
In the alley, Colin expresses the opinion that Meic’s co-operative is only looking for rich people to take a share of the enterprise, and he has not got enough.

Angela and Eileen have both been asked for money
Angela goes to Eileen’s and mentions that Sioned was looking at her bank statement;  “She thought I’d have the money to save her skin,” she comments.   Eileen’s conclusion is that Sioned cannot be trusted with money, and she is unwilling to pull out of the deal on Penrhewl.
Ed seems unimpressed by the £170,000 price tag
The surveyor from Tomos ac Ellis measures up the Deri, and announces a price of £170,000;  she suggests that an auction would produce a quicker sale.
Eileen breaks the uncomfortable news to Sioned . . .
Eileen goes to Angela’s to remind Sioned that she wasted the money from Marian and lost Ed’s money;  her mother cannot afford to lose hers.
. . . and Sioned responds in her usual way
Sioned starts shouting about Eileen putting Jim and Cadno before her again.   “You don’t care – you’re turning your back on me – so typical of you!” she rants.
"Coming here was the biggest mistake of my life!"
Going outside the front door, Sioned sees the surveyor leaving the Deri, and Ed telling her, “The sooner I sell up, the better, so I can leave this place!”   Then turning to Sioned, he adds, “Coming here was the biggest mistake of my life!”

"I've done it again, haven't I?"
Sioned looks at her mother, saying, “I’ve done it again, haven’t I?”
