Poor little Arwen is a bit under the weather, not sleeping
Ffion is going to take Arwen to the doctor, and is feeling guilty about having the time off school.   She tells Jinx, “We can’t carry on like this,” and repeats, “An only child is a lonely child.”   Jinx says that Arwen needs their attention now, to make sure she is all right.
Dani tells Gemma that the texts have now stopped
When Gemma and Mark enter the café, they find Dani already there, having taken Gwern to school;  Gemma asks if there have been any more texts.   Dani thinks they have stopped now, and agrees with Gemma that it was probably Gwyneth sending them;  now she knows who it was, she will not worry any more.   Then Gemma makes an excuse to Mark about leaving her hair-straighteners turned on, and rushes off.
Gemma retrieves the offending mobile
When she gets back to Mark’s, she rummages through a cupboard until she finds the anonymous mobile, and takes it away with her.
Gwyneth's solicitor gives her encouraging news
A solicitor visits Gwyneth, and is shown the letter from Garry’s solicitor;  she says that courts often favour the mother in such cases, and that the fact that Garry has a criminal record will be in her favour.   Gwyneth again is insistent that Gwern’s place is with his mother.
Iolo does not want Gethin's interference
Gethin is concerned about Iolo being so miserable and off his food;  when Iolo storms off to work, Gethin phones Wiliam.   Jinx sees Iolo in the Deri, and tells him not to mention their little discussion about sperm donation.   Then Jinx asks Ows if he can book the Deri for the final of the cookery competition, adding that the free publicity should bring the charge down.
Wiliam just happened to be passing
Iolo is surprised to see Wiliam come in;  “Good morning.   I was just passing,” he says, but as Gethin follows him in, Iolo surmises that he is responsible.   Iolo tries to escape, but in the end invites Wiliam to the house.
After Ffion has left Arwen with Elinor, she meets Dani and they chat, while Gwyneth is watching them from the door of the shop and Gemma from outside the Deri.
Gemma is watching, and texting, Dani
As Gemma is texting, Dani’s mobile sounds, she looks at it and runs down the street to Garry, telling him, “She’s at it again!”
Dani runs past Betty and shouts, "Garry!   She's at it again!"
Garry is furious, and wants to tackle Gwyneth straightaway, but Dani urges him to wait;  meanwhile, Gemma, now with a cup of coffee, smiles.
The malicious Gemma thinks it is all very amusing
Ffion has gone into the café, so Gwyneth follows her in and asks what Dani was talking about to her.
Gwyneth tries to get information out of Ffion
Ffion says it must be difficult with Garry, but Gwyneth replies, “I’m the only one who can sort that out!   Dani is trying to steal Gwern from me, and they are threatening legal action.   I’d do anything to keep him!”   Ffion assures her that she understands better than anyone, but tells her not to do anything stupid.
Wiliam cannot understand Iolo's attitude
Wiliam tries to find out what is the problem, and says he has been waiting ages to hear from Iolo.   Iolo admits, “I do like you, but I can’t have a relationship with you.”   As Wiliam gets up to go, he adds, “I’m HIV positive.”   Wiliam is supportive, and asks what the doctor says;  when Iolo tells him the test was negative, Wiliam urges him to have another test.   “I’m ill and I know what’s wrong with me,” says Iolo.
Wiliam wants to help Iolo, but he refuses
Wiliam insists that he should go for another test;  “I’d like to be there for you – no-one should go through that on their own!”
Iolo is "losing it"
Iolo laments, “I can’t do this!” and Wiliam leaves, as Iolo begins to panic.
Garry is uncomplimentary:  "An old lag like you?"
Gwyneth takes her solicitor’s letter to Garry, stating that she should have custody of Gwern, but he is unimpressed;  “What?   an old lag like you?   No chance!”
"If you want to fight dirty, you've picked the right woman!"
Gwyneth answers, “You’ve got no idea what I have in mind for Gwern.   You’ve gone too far this time!   If you want to fight dirty, you picked the right woman!”
Dani asks him why he let her in after all the texts and messages she sent;  as Gwyneth denies any knowledge of this, Garry warns her, “If Dani gets one more nasty message, there’ll be trouble!”   When she has gone, Dani tells Garry that she is determined to prove it was her, and then she will never get custody.   Garry is concerned that they may have pushed her too far.
"The last thing I want to do is hurt you"
When Ffion gets home, she tells Jinx that there is nothing to worry about with Arwen, and she apologises for what she did.   “The last thing I want to do is hurt you, I want you to be happy, amd must face the fact that I can’t carry a child.   There are dozens of children in care homes – every one would love a father and mother to look after them.   I’ve realised you’re right!”
Aaaah, they are happy again — until the next time
Jinx agrees that all he wants is for her to be happy, and they kiss, reconciled again.
