Siôn has been comprehensively taken in by Gwyneth
Siôn is at Gwyneth’s again, and she tells him she was not expecting things to be so difficult;  she tells Siôn what he wants to hear – that her Bible is a great comfort when there is no-one to turn to.   She says she is glad that ministers do not take sides, and as she has some clothes to take to Megan’s shop, she agrees to go for a walk with him.
Gemma tells her tale of being attacked by Garry
Gemma visits Dani, saying, “I don’t know how to tell you this, but I went to the garage yesterday, and Garry tried it on with me – I couldn’t stop him, and I was lucky to get away!”   Dani’s response is, “You’re off your head!   Garry told me what happened, and I trust him 100%.”
Gemma continues, “He said it was me he wanted, you can’t trust him, you have to dump him!”   Dani tells her she knows the sort of woman Garry likes, “And you’d never get near the list!”
Dani recognises the colour of the lipstick
Then Dani upends Gemma handbag on the table, picking out the lipstick;  “Since when have you used this lipstick?   I saw the colour on Garry, and thought it was just the kind of messy smooch that Gemma would manage, especially if forcing herself on someone.”
Gemma brings Brandon's name into the argument
Gemma is getting more vehement and accuses Dani of not being loyal to anyone, “You always dump everyone, you dumped me as soon as Garry came along!   Brandon wasn’t even cold when…”
Dani shouts at her, but she has not finished yet:  “Everything about you is false – your hair, your makeup;  paint and power on the outside, and nothing inside — you’re a baby murderer!”
The term "Baby Murderer" gives Gemma away
Suddenly Dani realises that was what one of the messages said;  “It was you!   You sent the messages and texts!”
Megan is all sweetness and light toward Gwyneth
At the charity shop, Megan thanks Gwyneth for the clothes and asks how she is settling in;  after she has gone Colin remarks that she is being very welcoming.   “You can’t be too careful with someone like that,” Megan replies, “She might set my house on fire if I cross her!”
"Who else would be bonkers enough to do this?"
Dani goes to tell Garry what she has discovered, and he threatens, “Who else would be bonkers enough to do this and give us weeks of worry?   Just wait till I get hold of her!” but Dani urges him not to do anything, as Gemma is “a friend”.   “She’s determined to destroy anyone and anything to do with you, and doesn’t deserve forgiveness!”   Dani assures him she does not forgive Gemma, but rather she needs help.
Gemma's SIM card being cut up to destroy the evidence
Meanwhile, Gemma has rushed back to Mark’s, removed the battery from the offending mobile, and is cutting up the SIM card as Mark and Colin come in, wanting to practise one of their jokes on her;  she is in no mood to help.
In the salon, Dani is doing a manicure on a customer when Siôn and Gwyneth arrive, and will not take no for an answer;  Siôn insists that it is time she and Gwyneth discussed things, so they can come to terms with what has happened, and Gwyneth can prove she is not “a bad person.”
At last, Siôn and Gwyneth go, leaving Dani to get on with her job
Dani asks them to leave several times, and concedes, “I was wrong about one thing – you didn’t send the texts;  I forgot, you always get someone else to do your dirty work, don’t you?”
At this point Siôn and Gwyneth do leave, and as they walk towards the Deri, Garry catches sight of Gemma, pursuing her into the alley.
"You're pathetic!"
“What do you think you’re doing?   Why Dani?   Is Gwyneth involved?   Did she put you up to it?”   Gemma confesses it was all her own idea.   Garry concludes, “I can’t even be angry with you!   You’re pathetic — PATHETIC!”
Later at home, Dani asks Garry what she did to hurt Gemma, and Garry replies that it is not going to ruin what they have, that is what is important.
When Siôn and Gwyneth walk into the Deri, Colin and Mark are practising their routine for the Eisteddfod.
"Not everyone around here can forgive her!"
“Here come the good shepherd and the lost sheep!” taunts Colin, “Not everyone around here can forgive her.   She treated Yvonne very, very badly!”
"Sion, I need some help, now!"
Britt is frantically trying to contact Siôn for help collecting the children from school, but he is having a meal in the Deri with Gwyneth.   Megan, sitting nearby, invites Gwyneth to Bethania on Sunday;  Colin, by the bar, comments to Ows, “Butter wouldn’t melt!   Megan praises Gwyneth to her face, but slags her off once her back is turned.   That’s what chapel people are like – hypocrites!”
Gemma is tarting herself up
Gemma has dressed herself up, applying more lipstick, and leaves Mark, telling him she is meeting the girls.   She arrives at a bar somewhere, and attaches herself to a group of girls, who are celebrating the engagement of one of them.
The girls appear to be getting themselves inebriated
Gemma says she is waiting for her boyfriend, a doctor, and the five of them drink a quantity of alcohol.
Whoops! — Britt has spotted her husband
Back at the Deri, Britt, having collected the children, finds Siôn enjoying a meal with Gwyneth;  “Why are you not anwering my calls?” she demands, “What’s wrong with you?   I can’t believe you have been with her all day!
"What's wrong with you?" demands Britt
What about your translating?”
Britt - and Megan - are somewhat damp
Gwyneth tries to calm her by offering her a drink, but Britt will not be placated;  when Gwyneth explains they were just “having fun” and urges her to, “Cool it Britt!” she has had enough, and throws the drink over Gwyneth.   Her aim is not entirely accurate, and Megan is also drenched:  “This would never have happened when Reg and I ran the Deri,” she moans.
Britt addresses Siôn in her best snarl:  “Come home, now!”   He obediently goes, while Gwyneth smiles in a self-satisfied manner.
