Ed, with the overdue statement from the wholesaler
Ed finds a statement from a wholesaler, detailing an overdue account;  he is angry with Sioned, whose job it is to pay invoices on time.   She argues that it is best for cashflow to pay at the last possible minute, and if he does not like the way she does it, then to do it himself.
"You don't trust me to do anything!"
“Shall I stick to pulling pints?” she asks him, “You don’t trust me to do anything.”   He looks suspicious;  “Do I have any reason not to trust you?”
Sioned has not yet told Ed
Later, Andrew asks Sioned if she has told Ed yet, but she says they have argued.   He is going to see Steve about the investment;  Sioned says she will accompany him, so she can get some photos and figures, so they can convince Ed later.
It looks as if Ed's suspicions are well-founded
Of course she tells Ed she is going to see her mother, and he is suspicious that something is going on with her and Andrew.
Debbie impatiently waiting in front of the laptop
Debbie is anxiously waiting for a video call from Liam in Afghanistan, which is overdue, while Meic is having problems with the icecream machine.
Meic speaks in English to the MoD
Meic rings the MoD on her behalf, speaking in English, to enquire, and is told there is no reason why he has not made contact, but they will investigate and phone back.   When Ricky comes in, Debbie is about to tell him that she is sure something has happened to Liam, but Meic intervenes to ask Ricky to have a look at the icecream machine, and tells Debbie not to worry him unnecessarily.
Mark, in scriptwriting mode
As Mark is busy writing (rather weak) jokes, Colin arrives with the news that they have a booking for tomorrow night at Narberth, which will be good practise for them, and there is a free overnight stay.
Colin's nautical joke, which Megan regards as rather inadequate
They go to Megan’s shop to find some costumes, and try a few jokes on her, some of which she finds rather cringeworthy.
Things are not looking good when the phone number is not recognised
Andrew and Sioned arrive at the restaurant to find everything locked up;  he phones, but the number is not recognised.   He leaves a message for Steve to ring him, as Sioned remarks that this is no way to treat investors.     “They were more than willing to take the money,” she complains.
"You can't be serious!"
When Steve returns his call, there is bad news;  Andrew says incredulously, “You can’t be serious!   When?   Everyone?”
He tells Sioned, “We’ve been scammed!   The money’s gone!”   He is intent on going to see Steve, as maybe it is not too late to get the money back, but tells Sioned to go home, as £300,000 is involved, and people have been killed for less.
Sioned realises what she has done
Sioned is angry with him, “Sort this out, or Ed and I will lose the Deri!”   When he asks what she means, she tells him that Ed was using that money to keep the pub afloat.
What can she do now, to extricate herself – and Ed – from this problem?
Then it is Andrew’s turn to demand, “What have you done?”
Meic and Debbie march round to Mark’s to tell him that she cannot contact Liam, and fears the worst.
Debbie cannot be calmed down
They try to allay her fears, but she dashes off, as the MoD might be trying to ring back;  Mark is concerned that Liam may be in danger.
Rather inappropriately, Ricky is shooting down helicopters
When she gets back to the café flat, Ricky is playing a video game, shooting down helicopters.
Debbie rings the mother of Simon
Debbie rings the mother of Simon, one of Liam’s friends in the same unit, and finds that she too has heard nothing from her son.
Mark goes to Colin’s and tells him about Liam and that he will be unable to go to Narberth tomorrow.
"What would Liam want you to do?" asks Megan
Then Megan arrives with some more clothes she thinks might be useful for their act;  she advises Mark that Liam would want him to carry on with the act, so he reluctantly agrees.

"You're not here to help, you just want to be nosy"
Megan then goes to see Debbie, but does not receive a warm welcome;  Debbie tells her she is just there to be nosy, but she soon relents and hugs Megan.
