Colin enjoys his pre-cycle-ride cooked breakfast
Colin is stoking up with cooked breakfast in the café, in readiness for a bike ride;  Jim, talking to him, has a call from Eileen, asking what he wants for lunch, so he looks at Colin’s plate and says, “Gammon, sausage, beans and egg.”   Then Iolo bursts in, telling Colin that it is not fair on Gethin and him, the way Colin is not pulling his weight in the house.
Meic informs Sheryl that she will not be seeing Kevin for a long time
Sheryl looks out of the front window and sees Meic’s car arrive;  she opens the door to him and hears that Kevin has been sentenced to six years.   He never looked up at all, and probably did not even know Meic was there;  now Meic will have to learn to live without him.   Sheryl breathes a sigh of relief.
Meic is still very concerned about Kevin
At the café, Meic tells Debbie that Kevin had lost weight and there was a vacant look in his eyes.
Diane expresses doubt that Dai has mastered the use of a bidet
In Dai’s bathroom, Diane is telling him that he must be using the bidet wrong, although Dai maintains that, “You don’t have to be a brain surgeon!” and insists that he give Iolo another chance to sort it out.   Dai blames Diane for getting the job done while he was not there.
When Iolo arrives, Dai immediately leaves, and Diane remarks about Iolo not looking well.   When he gets up to the bathroom, Iolo feels unwell, and washes his face with cold water.   After he has finished, he asks Diane for a cheque in payment, but she says Dai has the chequebook.
Jim polishes off his delicious lunch
Jim enjoys his lunch, and compliments Eileen;  “I’m enjoying this marriage business,” he comments.   Eileen tells him she will be going to the Tapas Evening at the Deri tomorrow night, so she will leave him something in the oven.
In the afternoon at APD, Dai goes on about Iolo and how someone needs to teach him a lesson;  then he mentions that 10% of marriages fall apart within a month.
Eileen takes exception to being valued only for her cookery skills
Jim says he will never leave Eileen – she provides all the food he wants, when he wants;  “I’ll stay with her, if only for the food,” he says, not noticing Eileen behind them, who has come to bring his fleece.   She is angry and walks out.
On her way back to the shop Eileen sees Sheryl and tells her it is good to see her smiling again.   When she meets Anita, she advises her to keep an eye on Sheryl after all that has happened, and Anita thinks she will ring Darren in Canada.
Colin, after his less than successful bike ride to Llanarthur
When Sheryl opens her front door, Colin is passing, pushing his bike, which has a puncture, and he has also fallen off into a hedge.
"He only stays with me for my cooking!"
In the shop, Llinos warns Eileen that Jim is coming, so she pretends to be busy;  he tries to apologise for taking her for granted, but she announces to Llinos, “He only stays with me for my cooking!”
“That’s not true, I love you,” he assures her, but she wants him to prove it – he is to cook for her every night for a month.   “If I fancy anything…” she begins, and Jim finishes her sentence, “It will be on the table!”  “I’m off to town now,” she says, “But I’ll be back at six, expecting a feast.”
Anita tells Meic she is worried that Sheryl will not be in a fit state to care for Wil when he comes back, which is only a fortnight away, but Meic is sure she will be back to normal by then.
Sheryl has been looking at bikes on the café laptop, and later tells Meic she has ordered one for Wil when he comes home.
What is Iolo suffering from?
Iolo arrives home, very much under the weather, to find that Colin has done some tidying and washing-up.
Sheryl leaves a message for Wil, telling him there is a surprise when he returns, then Meic calls, confident that they have done the right thing, and when Wil comes back he will put a smile on all their faces.
Sheryl says she cannot wait to start enjoying herself again
Sheryl cannot wait to start enjoying herself again.
Jim finds two plastic food containers in the freezer, and sets about making lasagne;  when Eileen returns he hides the empty containers, and tells her that he has followed her favourite recipe.
Eileen looking forward to the meal — what will go wrong?
She replies, “If you can read a recipe, you’re half-way there.”
