14 May 2014

Colin brags to Jinx in the café about his cycling;  Meic remembers when he was young he used to cycle to Bangor, have chips and a fight with the locals, then cycle home.   When Colin shows the video recorded by his helmet cam, Debbie says it will “go viral” on the internet.
Anita comes in, ordering Meic about
Later, Anita marches into the café, demanding when Meic is going to do the decorating;  Debbie quickly replies that they café will be opening late, so he cannot do it.
Anita is never satisfied – it is a wonder Meic puts up with her
When Meic arrives home with a long-handled paint roller from APD for the ceiling, Anita moans again that he should do it with a brush.   When he asks her for some help, she says must instead go and buy matching duvet and curtains.
The will-signing ceremony, plus Iolo
At Penrhewl, the solicitor comes to get the wills signed, with Sheryl and Angela as witnesses;
Angela diagnoses Iolo's problem
Iolo has been doing some repairs, and asks Angela’s opinion on his rash, which she diagnoses as ringworm.   When Angela has reluctantly signed, Cadno tells Sheryl that both she and Eifion are going to be sterilised.
All the paperwork Gaynor needs to attend to
Hywel is all dressed up for the cycle ride, and Gaynor is still making excuses:  first she is too busy, then, after she has deliberately punctured her tyre outside the Deri, Hywel has to set off without her.
"Rhys has already gone – you'll have to go on without me."
“I must have run over some glass,” she lies.
Walking across the road, Dai is narrowly missed by Rhys on his bike, and when the cyclists have departed, he bellyaches at great length into Jinx’s microphone about how he has almost been killed twice by bicycles.
Dai rants at length about cyclists, causing some amusement
“Cyclists are just people who have nothing better to do!” he shouts, “Avoid them like Rabies!   No wonder the country is on its knees!” while other pub customers have a good laugh in the background.
Angela points out that they could have their operations on the NHS for nothing, but Cadno replies that privately they can get it done immediately.   “What’s the hurry? asks Angela, and when Cadno has left for the estate agents, starts working on Eifion.
Angela tries to sway Eifion's intention to have the vasectomy
“She’s forcing you to have a vasectomy;  she makes the decisions and you obey.   She shouldn’t reign over you — and I don’t have a say.”
Finally she says forlornly that she will just have to accept it, and goes home, as she has her own daughter to look after.   Eifion goes with her, and is given the cold-shoulder treatment as she cooks a meal for her and Courtney.   “If you can’t discuss things with me, our relationship counts for nothing!   What you promised Cadno could affect your future;  what if you regret the decision?”
The cyclists take a breather, and Sheryl talks to Ffion
Out in the countryside, the cyclists take a rest, and Sheryl tells Ffion that she is quite enjoying it, but will be going further when Wil is home.
Rhys photographs Sheryl while Hywel observes
Later, as they ride alongside a river, Sheryl stops and asks Rhys to take a photo of her;  she remarks to Hywel that Rhys has been very supportive.
When they return to the village, Debbie and Meic meet them with plates of sandwiches.   Anita again harangues Meic about the decorating, but Debbie maintains that paint fumes are bad for you.   Sheryl and Rhys are some way behind the others, and when they get back, Cadno is waiting to request a favour from Sheryl;  can she and the boys move in with her, as Gwyneth said she could before she was jailed.
Cadno plus the boys wants to move in with Sheryl
Sheryl reluctantly agrees.
Then Cadno crosses the road to Angela’s, where Eifion is just leaving, and announces to them, “I’m temporarily moving in with Sheryl;  once you have the op, I’ll be gone.   That’s what we agreed.”
When the cyclists, who include Geraint from the garage and Gwynfor, enter the Deri, Dai is still holding forth about them.   He tells Colin that he has nightmares of thousands of cyclists all heading towards him, and complains, “You all stink!”
Video record - just before Colin collides with Dai's car door
Colin shows him the footage recorded by his helmet cam, telling him “I uploaded it to the internet, and it’s gone viral!   Everyone can see you’re a ionc!” causing much laughter.
Dai grimaces.
