Garry is reluctant to believe a word she says
As Garry walks from the garage, he ignores Gwyneth, saying, “I’ve got better things to do than talk to you.”
“Didn’t Dani tell you, I’ve dropped the legal process,” she replies, “It’s easier and cheaper to sort it out ourselves.”   Garry is sceptical and walks off.
What Garry sees "in black and white" on his laptop screen
When he gets home he finds an e-mail confirming what she said, and cannot understand why she has done it.   Dani then admits she had a hand in it, but did not say anything till she saw it in black and white.   Garry says they will have to celebrate.
Jim is getting pre-broadcast nerves
Jim is getting very worried about answering cooking questions live on CwmFM, and wants Eileen to be standing by, so he can text her with any difficult ones, and get her answer, but she says that would be cheating.   When DJ comes into the shop, Jim asks him if he wants to earn an easy fiver.
Gwyneth calculates that admitting everything will convince Siôn
Gwyneth goes to Siôn’s, confessing that she has made a terrible mess – the woman asking him questions was Nicky, her partner, who she met in prison, and she was distracting him, so Gwyneth could take Gwern away to Spain, a long way from his father.
Siôn is furious;  “So you did deceive me?   Britt was right!   Some things are unforgivable!”   Gwyneth tries to justify herself, “But I didn’t take him.”
However, Siôn tells her to get out
“That was your intention — get out of my sight!” shouts Siôn.   When Britt comes downstairs, he refuses to say what the shouting was about.
"You forgave her for murdering my brother!"
“No, you can’t say, because you’re the face of Bethania!” she mocks, “It must have been something terrible if you can’t forgive her — you forgave her for murdering my brother!”
In the studio, Jim’s first question is from Colin Evans, asking how he knows when to take his victoria sponge out of the oven.
Jim uses building terms for his cooking
Jim uses the analogy that making a cake is like mixing concrete – three parts sand, two parts chippings and one part cement, but Colin objects that he does not want his cake like concrete.   Jim adds that icing a cake is just like plastering.
The next caller is Richard Ashurst Junior, otherwise known as DJ, who asks about a German dessert.   Jim is confident about this one, suggesting Apple Strudel, using filo pastry which has to be rolled very thinly.
"How about stopping things with your solicitor?"
Garry and Dani sit down to a takeaway meal, and Dani tells him, “There’s one thing that would be the icing on the wedding cake;  if you’d stop things with your solicitor too.   We don’t have to force anyone to do anything now, and can think about the wedding.”
Garry agrees, “Yeah, why not?   It looks as if we’ve won anyway.   There’s something a little bit sly about you.”
They arrange that when Gwyneth has her supervised visit from 4.30 to 5.30 tomorrow, Garry will be there.   “You really do hate her guts, don’t you?” says Garry, but she answers, “No, just want to show her who’s boss.”
Iolo lies about his visit to the doctor
Iolo comes to visit his father, but Siôn is too busy going off to the prayer service at Bethania, so he sits down and talks with Britt;  he tells her that he feels much better after seeing the doctor and speaking to a professional, and thanks her for not telling his father.   Britt asks if it would be so bad if she did tell him, but he prefers to talk to her.
Eileen spoils things for poor old Jim
Eileen puts the cat among the pigeons when she phones in about frittata – how long should she put it under the grill?   Jim is floundering out of his depth here, and after calling it a “fattata” admits, “I’m a builder, not a cook!”
Jim has had enough of this broadcasting lark — "Find someone else!"
When Jinx reminds him he has a weekly cookery programme from next week, Jim throws down his headphones, shouting, “I won’t do it – I can’t do it – find someone else!”
Jim vows to stick to building, not cooking
When he gets home, he admits to Eileen that he should not have tried to be what he is not
Iolo has worked himself into quite a state
Iolo is obsessively arranging and rearranging the CDs on his bookshelf, then sits on the floor in exasperation, his head in his hands.
Poor attendance: little old chap, Llinos, Betty, Gwyneth and Madge
At Bethania, a rather poorly-attended meeting is about to start, when Gwyneth arrives.   People are much more friendly than last time – Betty hands her a Bible, and Llinos offers her a mint.   They start reading the third Psalm, including the words, “Many are they who rise up against me,” and when they get to the words, “But Thou, O Lord art a shield for me,” Gwyneth seems to brighten up.
Gwyneth puts on her best miserable look for Siôn
At the end of the meeting, everyone leaves except Gwyneth, and Siôn tells her that he recognises true repentance when he sees it.   “You realised in time what you were doing was wrong.   It’s a comfort knowing there’s something greater than us.”
What is the matter with the bloke?   Has he completely lost it?
As they stand, looking at each other, Gwyneth appearing particularly mournful, Siôn suddenly kisses her, for no apparent reason.   When Gwyneth realises what has happened, she hurriedly leaves.
