Jinx wants Taid out of the way, so he can talk to Ffion
Jinx is cooking a meal for Ffion, and suggests to Taid that he should go to the Deri for a while, giving him some money as pension day is not until tomorrow.   Ffion arrives home, and Taid leaves;  earlier Jinx and Arwen had picked flowers for Mam in Cwm Du.
Arwen watches Ffion and Jinx talking
Jinx apologises for getting so worked up about the pregancy scare.   When Ffion says they must make sure that she does not get pregnant for real, Jinx says, “Remember yesterday we said we should be honest?” and is about to reveal his true feelings, when Siôn arrives.
Siôn pontificates on the finer points of Welsh grammar
Siôn is complaining about a school trip leaflet which contains several spelling and grammatical errors, which he points out to Ffion;  it is a matter of principle that the school should set a good example, he maintains.   Talking of examples, Ffion raises the matter of Chester speaking English at school, which somewhat deflates Siôn, and Jinx announces that the parsnip soup is ready, “Correctly spelled, PANNAS, in Welsh.”
Nothing sinister, just a snap of Gwern at Britt's
Dani is still nervous, and when a text arrives on her phone, she is reluctant to look, so Garry does, and finds a photo of Gwern, sent by Britt;  Garry is about to go and collect him.   When he enquires of Dani whether she is all right, she snaps at him.
Garry tells Britt about her strange behaviour, suspecting that it may be connected with the abortion;  perhaps she is suffering post traumatic stress?   Britt is convinced that Dani carefully thought through the whole thing, and that is what she wanted.
Dani is worried, and wants to talk to her "friend"
Gemma has just switched on that anonymous phone when Dani arrives, so it is quickly tossed into the drawer.   Dani shows her the latest message, and concludes that someone is angry with her, and she does not know who;  “You can’t suspect me,” says Gemma, “I’m your best friend!”
Dani wonders whether to report the cyber stalking to the police.  Of course Gemma tried to dissuade her, but then gets extremely worried when Dani says she will call the number back, to see if she can hear any background noise to give a clue;
Gemma managed to turn the phone off before being discovered
just in the nick of time Mark phones Gemma from the shop, which gives her an excuse to get up and rapidly switch off the phone in the drawer.   Then she gives Dani the idea of getting another phone, and telling Garry she lost the old one.
"I was going to tell you before Siôn arrived . . ."
After they have eaten their meal, Jinx begins once again, “I was going to tell you before Siôn arrived…” but this time Taid returns from the Deri, saying it was dead there, with only strangers around, and is given a plateful of Jinx’s delicious food by Ffion.
Siôn tells Britt that they should monitor Chester carefully, to which Britt comments, “Language police!”
Siôn cannot believe this crime against the Welsh language
When they all sit down to their meal, Chester asks Catrin to pass the salt (rather than the Welsh halen), but when giving an account of his football exploits, he says “sick” and “wicked”, and this causes the good Welshman, Siôn, great consternation.
Ffion hears from Taid what Jinx really feels
Arwen cries, and when Jinx has gone to her, Taid tells Ffion, “I’m sorry you’re not pregnant.”   Ffion is surprised he knew, but he continues, “I would love to be a great-grandfather again, and time is flying by.   An only child is a lonely child, so they say.   If Arwen had a little brother or sister, Jinx would be thrilled!”
Jinx, with Arwen's little "Wow-wow"
At that moment Jinx comes in to retrieve Arwen’s little soft toy, “Wow-wow”, and looks puzzled.   “To have another baby,” says Taid, “He’s desperate to be a father, and these last few days have changed his mind.”
Dani gets back to Garry’s flat, bringing him a box of chocolates, and texts Gemma, thanking her for being such a good friend.
Taid is apparently asleep after his large meal, so Ffion asks Jinx, “Do you want the result to be positive, deep down?” and he nods.
Ffion and Jinx reveal their true feelings
He admits he started feeling quite broody, and then quickly adds, “But it’s not going to happen – I’m happy with you and Arwen.
“Ffion hypothesises, “But if I was — you wouldn’t want me fat and with my hormones all over the place, would you?”
Taid exhibits a satisfied smile
The sleeping Taid opens one eye and smiles.
