"We might need these things again," says Jinx
Jinx is looking at the toys which Arwen had in her cot;  Taid says there is no point in hoarding things, but Jinx replies that they might need them again.  Jinx worries about the fact they are cousins, but Taid says everyone is related, one way or another, and when Jinx fears what people would say if they know, he is reassured, “You can’t live in fear – what you want is what matters.”
Garry proudly displays the keys, symbols of his ownership
Garry is there as the sign is taken down, and Gethin tells Colin to act surprised;  Iolo arrives, and is told that Garry is the new landlord.   Garry invites them into his property, and points out that Griffiths was pleased to accept his cash offer.
Iolo is far from happy with his new landlord
He tells them he will be making spot checks that they are keeping the place tidy, and advises Iolo to go for something in his price range next time.
"Take some advice from Uncle Garry," he tells Iolo
Off he goes to the bank to arrange for the rent to be paid by direct debit.
Ffion tells Hywel about her problems
As Hywel is cycling, he comes across Ffion, sitting on a bench, and she reveals that she may be pregnant, but is too scared to take the test.   Hywel says if he were Jinx, he would want to know, but Ffion is concerned that Jinx is so anxious about it.   She has been through hell with previous pregnancies, and does not know if she can face another loss.   Hywel reminds her she had Arwen, and Ffion admits she would love to have a baby with Jinx, if only to make up for misleading him over Arwen.
Jinx would love to be a biological father
Jinx admits to Taid that he too would love to have a baby with Ffion, more than anything else;  it would be great to be a biological father, and Taid comments that he would not then be, “Living in Macs’ shadow.”
Iolo is becoming more and more angry that Garry has beaten him, and convinced that he will raise the rent.   They agree they will have to go and talk with him.
"The Three Stooges" face Garry Monk
So it is that a deputation arrives at the garage, and Garry calls them, “The Three Stooges.”   They want to know where they stand, and Garry assures them that after their present contract expires in a couple of months, if they pay their rent on time, there will be no problem.   There might be a slight rent increase, to cover maintenance and inflation, and he tells Iolo that he will check out the damp patch in the kitchen.
Gemma visits Dani in the salon with a special offer holiday at the end of the summer in Malaga, just for the two of them, but Dani thinks Garry might want to take her somewhere.
Gemma detects that Dani is worried about something
Dani admits to Gemma that she has had another text, and shows it to her.
Gemma's latest twisted attempt to get her own back
In the Deri, Gemma tries to persuade her to go on this holiday;  Garry comes in, orders a bottle of champagne and reveals he has bought a house, number 7.
Garry's holiday ambitions are far beyond Malaga
With the rent income, he will be able to take Dani to Florida or the Caribbean, much to Gemma’s disgust.   Dani suggests she could take Mark to Malaga, but she does not seem to relish the prospect.
When Ffion gets home, Taid offers to take Arwen out for a walk, so they can have some peace.   Ffion announces to Jinx that she will take the test – they must know, one way or the other.   Jinx again paces up and down outside the bathroom door;  “I’ve not felt like this since Arwen was born.”
A moment of disappointment for both of them
When Ffion emerges, she is downcast;  “I’m not pregnant, there’s no doubt!”   Jinx reassures her, “As long as you’re OK, that’s all that matters,” and they embrace on the landing.
Gemma, back at Mark’s, continues her childish behaviour with the mobile, and when Dani and Garry get back to their flat, where he has another bottle of champagne in the fridge, there is another text.
Gemma definitely needs help, if this is the way she treats a "friend"
Iolo has worked himself into a frenzy, with the change of landlord and the damp, and when Colin tells him there is nothing to worry about, he attacks the stained worktop like a maniac, shouting that if Garry does not attend to the repairs they will not pay their rent.
Iolo appears to be "losing it"
Ffion is so sorry for putting Jinx through all the anxiety for nothing, but he urges her, “Don’t be afraid of sharing things with me.”   Then Taid and Arwen return, and when Ffion takes Arwen to bed, Jinx tells him that it was a false alarm.
"This time, perhaps — but you're still young."
“This time, perhaps,” the old man replies, “But you’re both still young.”
Jinx tells him, “I’m just grateful for what I have.”
