Siôn behaves rather secretively towards Britt

Siôn tells Britt that “someone from the chapel” has asked him for help, but he is not sure whether he should give it;  Britt thinks he would not be able to live with himself if he did not help.her 

Cadno rings Eifion to tell him that Bobi is unwell, although actually he is playing happily and healthily.   He comments about Gwyneth’s release, referring to “your girlfriend”.

Later she shows Sheryl the photos she has taken and says, triumphantly, “I’ve got him this time!   Playing dirty is the only choice, and Eifion is such a coward it won’t come to calling the police.”

Angela in her overalls, helping with the sheep

Meanwhile down on the farm, Angela, clad in overalls and wellies, is quite enjoying helping Eifion with bringing in the sheep from the top field.

Anwen expresses her concern for Dani

In the café, people are sympathising with Dani – Debbie and Anwen in particular, and Dani admits to Debbie that the abortion did actually take place, but Garry is trying to play down the whole thing as “childish nonsense”.   

Debbie is surprised at getting ten cases of Laver Bread

Debbie says she ordered one case of Laver Bread, but ten are delivered to the café;  Meic says they will be forcing it on customers until Judgment Day.

He puts an advertising board outside – “Welsh Breakfast with Laver Bread”, and admits to Debbie that Kevin loved the stuff, so he wants to get rid of it as soon as possible.   Britt comes in and has breakfast, complete with it, so Meic announces, “Only 99 to go!   I’ll get rid of this seaweed, if it’s the last thing I do!”

Gwyneth quickly has Siôn convinced that she has changed

Siôn is in the prison visiting room when Gwyneth enters;  she thanks him for coming, but he is impatient to find out what she wants.  She insists that she has changed, and that she is returning to Cwmderi when she is released.   

God helped Siôn and now He has helped her;  she was selfish and bitter, but now she has “turned the corner” and she needs Siôn’s help, to encourage people to give her a second chance.   “I’m not the same person who came into here,” she assures him, but Siôn reminds her that Brandon was his brother-in-law, and asks why she will not make a fresh start somewhere else.   She responds that running away is the easy option, but Siôn’s reaction is, “What do I tell Britt — and Garry and Dani?   I hope that I won’t regret this.”

Eifion sees Bobi looking fit and well as he comes out of the café with Cadno;  he mentions Cadno should, “Keep the bed warm for your girlfriend when she gets out.”   When he has gone, Cadno turns to Sheryl and again says, “Playing dirty is the only way! ”

Garry is trying to hide his feelings from Dani

Dani tells Garry that she can see this CnocCnoc affair is getting to him, and accuses him of shutting her out.   Garry replies that he does not like everyone knowing their personal business, and assures Dani that has always said he will support her, whatever she decides.

Britt is disgusted by what Siôn tells her

There is a very heated reaction when Siôn tells Britt where he has been, and assures her that Gwyneth has changed, having turned to God.   Britt is sure that Gwyneth has told him exactly what he wanted to hear, and demands whether his principles come before being honest with his own wife.   “Having her coming back to Cwmderi is the last thing Garry needs!” snarls Britt, but Siôn reminds her of her own plotting and revenge.

Britt continues, “There is no ‘we’ if you put Brandon’s murderer before your own wife!   You’re trying to be a saint, but what about your duty to me?   When I was in prison, you wouldn’t visit me, and you’ve no idea how much that hurt me.   You betrayed me — what does that say about our relationship?”
