Jinx and Taid queueing up for the bathroom
Ffion is taking a long time in the bathroom and Jinx is desperate;  Taid’s advice is, “Tie a knot in it.”   When Ffion emerges, Jinx asks her if something is wrong, and she says she has an upset stomach, but he can sense that all is not well as she cuddles Arwen before leaving for work.
Ffion would rather be at home with her little Arwen
She admits that after the last week at home with her daughter, she is not keen to return to school.
Chester is reprimanded for speaking English
Once there, she catches Chester talking to his mates about last night’s television – in English!   She admonishes him rather vehemently that the rules say, “Welsh is the language of the classroom and yard,” but Jinx has followed her to school, to check up on her.   He says that he smelt mouthwash on her breath, and she realises, “You think I’m drinking again!”
Jinx overreacts when he hears Ffion's news
In the office she admits that she is “four or five days late”;  “You’re pregnant!” shouts Jinx, but she says that it may be nothing, caused by stress.   He is panicking, and says they cannot afford to take risks – has she forgotten to take her pill?   As she has to go to a meeting, they will discuss it at home later.
Freshly caught trout is on the café menu today
In the café, Meic unwraps a fish he caught yesterday;  “What is it?” asks Debbie, and Ricky interrupts, “A sausage – what do you think?”   Later it is cooked and served to Taid, who says that it is so good the chip shop will have to watch out.

Meic tells the nosy women what was in the letter
Meic has by then had a letter, which concerns him, and he reveals to Debbie and Anita that it is from Kevin, wanting him to visit, but even if he went, what could he talk about?   Meic doubts if he could even look Kevin in the eye.
As Colin is exercising in the kitchen, Gethin asks Iolo what “subject to contract” means, and Iolo says that the agreement just needs signing.
Colin, with his bike, watching a quiz programme
Colin cannot go for a ride, as he has a slow puncture;  his bike is upside down in the livingroom, and Iolo is losing patience.   “This place is a tip!” he tells them, “When I own the house, I want you out, and that’s the end of it.   You’re just taking advantage.”
Iolo goes to the estate agents, Colin is frantically worried about losing his home, so Gethin tells him in confidence that someone else has put in a higher offer — Garry Monk!
"Gazumped by Garry Monk!"
Colin smiles broadly, “Gazumped by Garry Monk!”   Gethin says after how he treated them, he deserves this, but they will not tell Iolo who the new landlord is.
When Iolo returns, Gethin asks, “Where are your heavies to throw us out?   You can’t do it on your own!”    Iolo replies, “I’m not throwing you out.”   Colin says, “Have you had a crisis of conscience?” but Iolo reveals that someone else has offered more money.
Ffion returns home after school and tells Arwen that she missed her, then Jinx hands her a pregnancy test kit, which he got from the chemist.
"Part of me does want to be pregnant," says Ffion
Ffion says that she wants to wait, although he insists that every day is crucial.   She wants to let nature take its course, “Part of me does want to be pregnant.”
Jinx is still concerned, that there is a risk, with their being cousins, but Ffion points out that the risk is only 3% greater than with anyone else.   Jinx says, “We must not sweep it under the carpet, like when you were drinking and being devious and lying.”
Gethin and Colin, about to eat their "meal for two"
Gethin cooks a meal for himself and Colin, telling Iolo that he will have to do something for himself, and when Iolo says they are friends, remarks, “Friends don’t stick a knife in each other’s back,” and then adds, “The new landlord might kick you out!”
Ffion marvels at how small Arwen was
When Arwen is fast asleep and Ffion is looking (broodily?) at her baby clothes, Jinx apologises for panicking and mentioning booze, but he is worried about her.   Ffion muses, as she looks at Arwen’s first babygro, “I’d been desperate for a baby for years, and had given up hope, but then Arwen arrived.”   Jinx agrees, “She is a little miracle.”

She is going to pray for another miracle
Ffion continues, “There are risks, and my body may not co-operate, but let’s leave well alone for now, and I’m going to pray for another miracle.”
