2 January 2014 (2nd)

Eileen angrily stalks over to Angela’s and tells her she has ruined everything, accusing her of doing it deliberately to undermine her relationship with Sioned.   When Angela says she gave her a chance to tell Sioned, Eileen tells her that as she cannot get her own way, jealousy is eating her alive.   “Sioned has turned her back on me, because of you!” is Eileen’s parting shot, as she walks out.
Jim asks Mark if he has seen a card for Courtney which has not yet been delivered, and suspects Mark might have stolen it.   Then Eileen approaches, and tells Jim that Sioned knows, and never wants to see her again;  at home she says that losing John was her punishment for giving up Angela – now she has lost Sioned too.   Jim advises her to talk to Sioned as soon as possible.   Later, Jim confronts Mark again, insinuating that he has stolen the package, and Debbie abruptly order him out of the café;  “On your bike,” she shouts, “Out!”
Gaynor reports to Hywel that the doctor says she has suffered a bad panic attack brought on by shock, and she is to stay at home for at least three weeks;  of course she argues that she cannot, as the inspection is looming.   Hywel tells her she must rest, and she must contact Ffion to put her in charge.   Gaynor is afraid Ffion may not be able to cope, with all that has happened recently, but Hywel insists she must not gamble with her health.   When Ffion comes to see her, she agrees to do her best to run the school;  she admits it will be “a challenge.”   Hywel describes them as “two old crocks”;  at least they can be ill together.   When Ffion gets home, Jinx is worried that she will have too much to do.
Debbie has put an advert in the paper, and two men ring Meic’s home phone about “the doll”;  Meic immediately knows who is responsible.   Anita is trying to arrange internet classes.   Meic has had enough of her, and declares that he has to get Debbie out of that flat once and for all.   He brings the car round the front, and they try to surreptitiously get the doll into the boot, but Debbie and Mark are watching and jeering, which Meic finds, “very childish!”
Sioned visits Angela, who blames herself for all the animosity between her and Eileen;  Sioned says Eileen has a gift for making everyone feel guilty.   She did sympathise that Eileen had her baby taken away, but she felt so lonely growing up.   Angela remarks that knowing she had a real mother did not stop her being lonely, and says if she had been allowed to keep the baby, Sioned might not have been here:  Sioned wonders, “How many people would miss me?”   Angela was so glad when Sioned described her as “a good friend”;  she hopes that, “In time you’ll see me as a sister,” and the two of them hug.
