1 January 2014

Colin is leading a walking expedition in the countryside, and Diane complains that her feet are soaking;  Meic tells Anita that his resolution is to get rid of Debbie, and Anita says she wants to learn to use the internet properly.   Colin warns against blogging, saying it is not safe or private, but Anita thinks they should organise classes on the subject;  Megan and Marian might be interested.
At the Deri, Ed tells Sioned she was tossing and turning all night, and assures her they will be fine;  Sioned texts Angela, “We need to talk.”
Gaynor tells Lois that she is better now, although she never felt like that before – as it she were drowning;  she thought she was going to die!   Of course she simply tells Hywel that she thinks she has flu.
Colin loses patience when the complaints continue, and addresses each of them in turn:  Dai wheezes like an old man, Diane wears fancy shoes for walking, Meic has not stopped complaining, and Anita talks too much.   They all take exception to this, but Colin marches off, unaffected.
Colin rather disenchanted with his fellow walkers
Angela comes to see Sioned, who wants to hear it again from the beginning.   Sioned is angry when she hears that Eileen admitted she was Angela’s mother, but Angela assures her that she will eventually come to terms with the revelation.   Sioned is amazed that her mother has kept something like this from her for four months, but Angela tells her it was to protect her, and she had intended to tell her.   Sioned wonders when she was going to reveal the truth, but is persuaded to wait to see if Eileen will actually admit it;  Sioned needs time to work things out in her head.
When Hywel comments that Gaynor has a bad headache, Lois urges her to tell him what is really the matter, or she will;  Gaynor then goes to bed, just as Ffion and Jinx arrive to see Hywel.   Jinx is counting the days until he gets back to CwmFM, but it is expected to be four or five weeks:  Ffion is anxious that Gaynor gets better, with the school inspection approaching.   When Lois takes her a cup of tea, Gaynor is fretting that she has to be well, with Hywel and the inspection, but Lois makes her promise to see the doctor if she is no better by the morning.
The walkers have returned to the village, with four of them in the Deri, waiting for Meic to join them;  at home, he hears a knock on the door, and is embarrassed to find a blow-up doll outside, which he hurriedly brings in, so that no-one will see.   Then he goes to the Deri, where the group continue to bicker;  Colin says his resolution is to be honest and say what he thinks.
Meanwhile, behind the bar, Sioned looks wistfully at the photo of her, Angela and Courtney on her phone.
